Update On Leni’s Boston Garbage-Diving: Who’s That Man In Blue T-Shirt?

IMG_2523BOSTON, Massachusetts (Exclusive to The Adobo Chronicles) – Previously, we reported that the Boston Police Department is investigating whether or not Philippines Vice President Leni Robredo violated U.S. law by admitting during her radio show that she went garbage-diving in search of usable items for her daughter’s apartment.

Boston Police had asked the help of concerned citizens by providing them with photos or CCTV videos that would possibly implicate Robredo in a criminal offense, including trespassing.

Today, the police department released a photo it received from an anonymous source showing a man in blue t-shirt garbage-diving into a trash bin in the same neighborhood where Robredo’s daughter’s apartment is located.

The man closely resembles the person who was helping the Vice President assemble some furniture in her daughter’s apartment.  It was a photo that Robredo herself posted on her Facebook page.

If it is the same man, then Robredo has a lot to answer for as the police investigation continues.

Divorce Rates Up In U.S., Thanks To Supreme Court Decision

IMG_2457.JPGWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Divorce rates in the United States almost tripled in just the last 24 hours, thanks to a decision by the Supreme Court to allow parts of Donald Trump’s Muslim travel ban to go into effect.

The ruling by the Supremes all but upholds the administration’s temporary ban on issuing travel visas to citizens from several Muslim countries.

The court’s opinion explained the kinds of relationships people from the six countries must demonstrate to obtain a US visa.

“For individuals, a close familial relationship is required,” the court said. For people who want to come to the United States to work or study, “the relationship must be formal, documented and formed in the ordinary course, not for the purpose of evading” the travel ban.

Apparently, many Americans who are opposed to the Muslim travel ban are resorting to divorcing their spouses in the hope that they can marry citizens from the banned countries.  This would satisfy the court’s condition of “close familial relationship.”

Let’s give it to these Americans.  They can’t be outsmarted. Not by Trump. Not even by the U.S. Supreme Court!

ADOBO CHRONICLES EXCLUSIVE: VP Leni Robredo’s Expenses For L.A. Trip

LOS ANGELES, California (Exclusive to The Adobo Chronicles) – Last week, Rappler’s star reporter Pia Rañada exposed the cost of President Rodrigo Duterte’s foreign trips which ran into millions.  The Rappler “exclusive” however failed to report on the trillions for the country that were the direct result of the presidential trips.

Now, our star reporter, Pol Pinoy, has an exclusive for The Adobo Chronicles.

We wanted to avail of actual numbers from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) for this report, but despite the Freedom of Information (FOI) act, Leni Robredo and her social media staff have consistently denied requests for data from the news media.

So, Pol Pinoy painstakingly resorted to true-to-life estimates on the total cost of Robredo’s travel to Los Angeles, California, to grace a symphony event.

Please note that these numbers are mere estimates and have not been audited by the Philippines’ Commission on Audit (COA).

Meanwhile, the OVP continues to appeal for donations to help with the relief and rehabilitation of the victims of the terrorist siege in Marawi.  Please contact OVP on how you can send them your hard-earned money to help boost Robredo’s image.

IMG_2304.PNGAs for what Robredo is bringing back to the Philippines from this trip, this is it, a self-portrait, a gift from the event organizers:
