Donald Trump To Seven Words: You’re Fired!

FDDE6F97-C34B-4F46-ACAC-03DDE83CEFF4

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – The Washington Post is reporting that the Trump administration has banned officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from using these seven words in budget documents

  • evidence-based
  • science-based
  • vulnerable
  • entitlement
  • diversity
  • transgender
  • fetus

So, before Trump permanently says “You’re fired!” to these seven words, The Adobo Chronicles would like to use all of them in one sentence.  Perhaps for the last time:

In an apparent move to discredit evidence-based and science-based informaton, U.S. Donald Trump showed off his Presidential entitlement by admonishing vulnerable health officials to refrain from supporting diversity that could endanger the transgender fetus.

Leni Robredo Shows Off Next Year’s National Costume For Miss Philippines-Universe

ALFONSO LISTA, Ifugao (The Adobo Chronicles, Baguio Bureau) –  This year and in years past, many have criticized the chosen national costume of the Philippines’ representatives to the Miss Universe Pageant.

Well, it’s not going to happen again.

Binibining Pilipinas organizers have assured the public that henceforth, the national costume of Miss Philippines-Universe will “reflect our true culture and identity.”

For next next year’s Miss Philippines-Universe, the organizers have chosen an ethnic attire representative of the Gaddang ethnic group of Northern Philippines.

The chosen national costume was unveiled yesterday in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao with no less than Leni Robredo as the model.

Do we have a winner national costume for next year’s Miss Universe Pageant?

Wrong Queen Crowned, But Steve Harvey Had Nothing To Do With It

IMG_4079SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – One would think it would never happen again — the wrong pageant winner being crowned.

But it did, just like it happened in the Miss Universe Pageant when host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner (Miss Colombia instead of Miss Philippines.)

Well, that’s now behind us, and the real winner, Pia Wurtzbach has completed her reign and has passed on the crown to her successor.

In San Francisco, the wrong queen was crowned Miss GAPA (Gay Asian Pacific Alliance) this weekend, but Steve Harvey had nothing to do with it.

Organizers of the popular pageant announced that due to a tabulation error, the crown was awarded to the wrong contestant.

But the organizers decided that the wrong winner can keep the crown, and they’re awarding a second crown to the real winner.  So for 2017, there will be two Miss GAPAs.

It will be recalled that former Miss Universe owner Donald Trump had suggested that both Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia be declared co-winners after that Steve Harvey fiasco, but that didn’t happen.

Hmmm, did Trump have anything to do with the Miss GAPA decision?
