NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Megyn Kelly is suing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for harassment after that feisty exchange on live television in Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate.

The FOX News anchor, in one of the highlights of the evening, asked Trump to explain his often-disparaging comments about women.

“You’ve called women ‘fat pigs, dogs, slobs, disgusting animals,'” she said.

“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump said, cutting Kelly’s question off mid-sentence.

“And honestly Megyn, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry,” he added. “I’ve been very nice to you, although I could probably maybe not be, based on the way you have treated me. ”

Kelly took that as a threat and said that she feared for her safety.

In a complaint filed in New York City’s superior court, Kelly sought for a restraining order to prevent Trump from coming within 50 feet of wherever is she. She is also asking the court to  ban the real estate mogul from using his Twitter account to further insult and criticize her.

In a series of late-night tweets, Trump blasted  Kelly for singling him out during the debate.

Meanwhile, Rosie O’Donnel is also reportedly considering filing a separate complaint against Trump for defamation of character.

Feminist attorney Gloria Allred has confirmed that she will be representing both Kelly and O’Donnel in the lawsuits on a pro-bono basis.  “It’s not about the money, she said, it’s about standing up for women.”

DONALD TRUMP HEEDS ANN COULTER’S SUGGESTION TO DEPORT JOSÉ ANTONIO VARGAS

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® )- Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump today called for the arrest and deportation of Filipino José Antonio Vargas, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who came out as an undocumented immigrant years ago.

Trump issued the call after conservative columnist Ann Coulter made the suggestion in an interview with Megyn Kelly of FOX News.

Trump, who just arrived in New York after a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border in Laredo, Texas, accepted Coulter’s challenge and asked the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, to implement U.S. immigration laws concerning immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally.

Vargas, who founded the group ‘Define American,’ recently released a documentary, ‘White People’ which aired on MTV.

Meanwhile, conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, a Filipino American, agreed with Coulter about Vargas’ arrest and deportation. “I am a U.S. citizen because I worked hard for it,” Malkin said.  “I had to find a U.S. citizen to marry.”

CNN AND FOX AGREE TO SWAP DON LEMON WITH MEGYN KELLY

ATLANTA, Georgia (The Adobo Chronicles®) – During an interview this week with Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush, FOX news commentator Megyn Kelly declared she was an Independent, having voted for both Democrats and Republicans. During a phone interview with Glenn Beck, CNN anchor Don Lemon admitted he was a conservative.

Today, both news cable networks said they have had it with their star news anchors.  They’re making a swap: Kelly moves to CNN and Lemon moves to FOX News.

In a joint statement, CNN and FOX said that they each wanted to be consistent with the politics and ideologies of their respective networks and that the swap is  a move in the right direction.

In her programs, Kelly is known to ask tough questions of Republicans and is not afraid to call them out if she thought they were out of line or out of their mind.

Lemon, on the other hand, Lemon is famous for his ridiculous theories and antics about the news, including suggesting that the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was kidnapped by a higher power.  Just last night, the openly-gay anchor opened his show by holding up the confederate flag and a sign that said “NIGGER,” in a failed attempt to try to stimulate discussion about news developments in South Carolina and the White House.

So, the next time you turn on to your favorite cable news program, don’t panic if you see an unfamiliar face.  You are still tuned to CNN or FOX.
