DONALD TRUMP DEFENDS CASINO CAPITALISM

imageLAS VEGAS, Nevada (The Adobo Chronicles) – At Tuesday’s CNN Democratic debate, the issue of casino capitalism was front and center when moderator Anderson Cooper asked Senator Bernie Sanders if he considered himself a socialist.

During the debate, Sanders defended democratic socialism and declared he was not a capitalist.

“Do I consider myself part of the casino capitalist process by which so few have so much and so many have so little, by which Wall Street’s greed and recklessness wrecked this economy?” Sanders said. “No, I don’t.”

Hillary Clinton responded by saying the country needs to “save capitalism from itself.”

Reacting to that exchange, Republican presidential candidate and frontrunner Donald Trump used his Twitter page to defend casino capitalism.

“In contrast to the Democrats, I am in favor of casino capitalism, and I’m good at it. Hey, I own several casinos,” the real estate mogul said.

That’s Trump’s economic plan. In less than 140 characters!

DONALD TRUMP DROPS TO NO. 3 IN LATEST POLL, BLAMES POPE FRANCIS

CaptureWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles®) – For a solid three-month period, Donald Trump has topped all the polls involving the Republican presidential candidates, leading his rivals by double-digit numbers.

But in just the last week, everything changed for Trump.

The latest USA TODAY GOP power rankings has Trump sliding down to third place, behind Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio.  The power rankings are determined by about 30 political experts from around the country who are asked who they think is the strongest candidates in the Republican field.

Reacting to his drop in the polls, Trump blamed Pope Francis’ recent visit to the U.S., saying the media stopped covering his campaign to focus on the Pontiff’s events in Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia. “The paparazzi that used to follow me wherever I go were nowhere to be seen during the pope’s visit,” Trump said.

Trump’s declining numbers seem to be having a telling effect on his demeanor and campaign strategy.

Last week, Trump announced that he would not “be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future” because he felt the network had treated him “very unfairly.” The foreseeable future turned out to be about six days. He ended his boycott of Fox News with an appearance on The O’Reilly Factor Tuesday night.

 The Trump campaign says to expect a kinder, humbler and gentler candidate going forward. Thanks, in part, to Pope Francis.

Trump’s new proposed U.S.-Mexico Border

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Realizing that he won’t be able to force Mexico to pay for the great wall that he wants to build along the U.S. southern border, Republican  presidential candidate and frontrunner Donald Trump has revised his anti-immigration policy proposal.

Trump now wants to sell California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas back to Mexico and use the money to pay for a new U.S. border wall north and east of these states.

Up until 1848,  California and its neighboring southwest states were internationally recognized provinces of free Mexico, until the U.S. decided it wanted those provinces, declared war on Mexico and stole them.

“I am a businessman and I make decisions based on what’s good for business,” Trump said. “Americans  and Mexicans both will thank me for it. It will finally put to rest America’s dragged-out immigration problem without costing us a cent.”

This new policy could very well be Trump’s ticket to The White House.
