NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – The United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights wants Rodrigo Duterte to undergo a lie-detector test.

High Commissioner Zied Ra’ad Al Hussein (no relation to Saddam Hussein or Barack Hussein Obama), issued the call after the Philippine president admitted that he personally killed suspected criminals while he was mayor of Davao City.

“I don’t believe him for a second,” Hussein said, “because he has said so many things in the past which are unbelievable or simply not true. This could be another one of his ‘hyperboles’ ”

“But Duterte’s statement puts me in a binding situation because it is my duty to investigate human rights violations.  If I don’t do anything, I might be fired.”

The UN official said that a lie-detector test which he is certain would prove that Duterte lied in his admission will make his job as commissioner much easier and that he would not have to spend time investigating the Philipine leader.

“I have much more important things on my plate, like looking into war crimes and human rights violations in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries,” Hussein told The Adobo Chronicles.

Please give his some time to breath before you come up with more  good news for us. We’re not used to this.”

Duterte Names The Three People He Said He Personally Killed

img_6903DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Philippines President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has once again grabbed international news headlines after he was quoted saying that during his time as mayor of Davao City, he personally killed three people in connection with his war on drugs.

Of course, there is no evidence to his claim.  We just need to take his word for it, and that’s what the news media is doing.

Today, in an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Duterte named the three people he killed: Dr. Jose Rizal, General Emilio Aguinaldo and Andres Bonifacio.

Heroes all!
