San Francisco’s Kuleto’s Restaurant Will Reopen January 20 as Trump’s

IMG_8360.JPGSAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – So much for Donald Trump abandoning his businesses to focus on his presidency. He’s opening a new restaurant in — of all places — San Francisco.

A popular Union Square gastronomical institution in the City by the Bay, Kuleto’s, has closed, apparently a victim of the ridiculously rising rent in San Francisco.

Kuleto’s has specialized in Northern Italian cuisine and has been a favorite after-work hangout for San Francisco’s hip crowd and sports fans.

Trump has bought the space for an undisclosed amount.

The president-elect has not revealed what kind of food he will be serving at his new restaurant, but he’s happy that the new signage would only involve a little tinkering (see photo).

Facing A Lifetime Ban, Donald Trump Offers To Buy Twitter For $1.2 Billion

img_7576SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – Twitter is considering banning Donald Trump from the social network after his recent angry tweets in which he attacked Indianapolis factory worker Chuck Jones. Soon after, Mr Jones received a run of abusive calls, the Washington Post reported, apparently spurred on by the tweet.

Twitter’s rules prohibit tweets that incite abuse or harassment, and echoes situations where Twitter has opted to ban people for life.

Upon learning of his impending ban from Twitter, Trump sent Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey an offer to buy out the San Francisco-based company for its full net worth of $1.2 billion.

A spokesperson for Trump said the purchase would enable the president-elect to continue using the social media network for his rants and trolls even after he has assumed the presidency.

Twitter account holders are afraid that their tweets will be censored if not deleted once Trump assumes ownership of the company.

Especially if the tweets are critical of Trump.

Justin Trudeau’s Scented Candle Outsells That Of Donald Trump And The US President-Elect Is Not Happy

img_7383TORONTO, Canada (The Adobo Chronicles, Toronto Bureau) – It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas, and the shopping for gifts and Christmas tree stocking fillers  are in full swing.

Scented candles are among the more popular items during the holidays and two new products have been introduced to the market.  One bears the scent of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the other, the scene of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

The numbers are in, and Trudeau’s scented candles have  far outsold Trump’s.  As expected, Trump is not happy.

The Adobo Chronicles has just learned that Trump fired his scented-candle promo team for doing a lousy job.

We wonder though, if any advertising or marketing group will ever succeed in promoting the Trump scented candle.

Incidentally, Trudeau hasn’t even employed a promo team for his scented candle.  The sales just keep going and going.
