MILLIONS ARE SWITCHING TO PEPSI AS A RESULT OF COKE CAMPAIGN

imageAtlanta, Georgia (The Adobo Chronicles) – Coca Cola’s most ambitious promo campaign to date is coming back to haunt the giant soda company, and its rival Pepsi is reaping all the benefits.

As summer season began, Coca Cola started rolling out its promo campaign titled ‘Share a Coke.’  It involves the production of limited edition coke bottles that replace the coke logo with popular names like Anna, Justin and Zack.

There is one problem: Coca Cola’s name database has only 250 entries, and that production of the special bottles is not possible if a person’s name is not in the database.

As a result, millions of disgruntled soda consumers whose names are not on Coke’s list are now switching to Pepsi.

Luckily for The Adobo Chronicles, we found our name on Coke’s database.

New York, NY (The Adobo Chronicles) – In March of this year, The Adobo Chronicles broke the story about the announcement by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) officially classifying taking selfies as a mental disorder, called ‘Selfitis.’  Since then, there has been much debate in the media about this growing phenomenon on the Internet.

This fall, a new television series will debut on the ABC Network largely based on the story that went viral.  Titled ‘Selfies,’ the new show stars Karen Gillan (‘Dr. Who’) and John Cho (‘Star Trek,’ ‘Harold & Kumar go To White Castle’).  It will airTuesdays at 8pm.

During pre-production, the reporters of The Adobo Chronicles were asked to lead the show’s writing team, but the reporters declined. “We don’t do television,” they said.

Initially, the series  was titled ‘Selfitis’ but ABC Network could not get permission from the APA to use the patented name.

Here’s the new show’s trailer.

Even before the start of his jury trial, Meeks has already signed up for modeling contracts with famous designers. Both Calvin Klein and Gucci have just unveiled promo ads featuring Meeks that will appear soon in fashion magazines (see photo).

In addition, Meeks’ attorney has said that his client will be wearing Tom Ford designer suits during the jury trial.

Not to be outdone, GAP has just announced that it is launching a new, casual orange-colored shirt line similar to the nurses scrub worn by hospital staff. Meeks modeled the new line during his arraignment last week.

Earlier,  The Adobo Chronicles reported that Abercrombie & Fitch hired Meeks to be its signature model for it is new bikini line.

It looks like Meeks will not have any problem financing his bail and court costs.
