LOS ANGELES, California (The Adobo Chronicles, Los Angeles Bureau) – Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo refuses to just sit around waiting for something to happen to the president. She’s been jetsetting.
But who knew Robredo was an accomplished soprano?
On June 17, 2017, the VP will be the guest performer during the Filipino American Symphony Orhestra (FASO)’s gala event to be held at the Edwin & Lani Raquel Residence (formerly the Mary Pickford Estate) in Los Angeles.
FASO is the only Filipino symphony orchestra outside of the Philippines.
Dubbed “A Night of Symphony,” the event will be highlighted by the debut performance of a new, comissioned work, “Sa Dulo Ng Laylayan,” to be sung by Robredo.
The Adobo Chronicles has just learned that the event is sold out, and that the only tickets available are those from scalpels, if one can locate them.
Do we hear a “Bravo?”
