BOBBY JINDAL SUES DONALD TRUMP FOR PLAGIARISM

imageBATON ROUGE, Louisiana (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – First, it was former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos who accused Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump of plagiarizing her husband Ferdinand E. Marcos’ famous campaign line, “This nation will be great again.” Now it is Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s turn and is suing the real estate mogul.

The Jindal campaign said it will file the plagiarism lawsuit against Trump in superior court this morning.

The suit alleges that Trump copied Jindal’s campaign slogan of “Tanned. Tested. Ready.” It was a theme printed on limited-edition 2016 presidential campaign t-shirts designed and distributed by the Jindal camp.

Trump’s campaign released a poster, albeit tweaked a little bit, that had the slogan, “Blonde. Fired Up. Ready.”image

Jindal criticized Trump not only for lack of originality, but also for racist overtures on his plagiarized slogan.

AIRBUS UNVEILS NEWEST AIRCRAFT: MORE LEGROOM, LESS ELBOW ROOM

imageBLAGNAC, France (The Adobo Chronicles® ) –  The Airbus A380 , a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner manufactured by Airbus, remains the world’s largest passenger airliner todate, and the airports at which it operates have upgraded facilities to accommodate it.

But even this massive aircraft is not big enough to fully accommodate the increasing volume of air travel in this  inter-connected world of ours.

In an effort to keep up with the high demand for airline seats, Airbus has redesigned a quarter of its current fleet of 380’s, which consequently also means higher profits for airline companies.

The new design, named Airbus 380-B, features rows of seats that alternately face forward and backward. The configuration adds at least 6 more seats per row. Although the design provides less elbow room and less space between seats, it creates more legroom — an additional 12 inches —  for passengers, even and especially in the economy section.

Some airlines like United and Philippines Airlines charge an additional premium fee for front-facing seats.

Rich de la Cruz, a frequent traveler from the Philippines who experienced flying in economy class on the new aircraft recently, said he appreciates the additional legroom especially on 13 to 16-hour flights. Asked about the reduced elbow room and space between seats, de la Cruz said,  “I don’t mind it at all.  It’s actually cozy, especially when you’re seated next to a beautiful lady. It’s a pleasant perk!” He added, “It also encourages more social interaction among passengers.”

REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES CONCEDE LATINO VOTE TO DONALD TRUMP

imageKANSAS CITY, Missouri (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – A spokesperson for the National Council of La Raza, the biggest Latino advocacy group in the United States, says that the organization invited every current Republican and Democratic presidential candidate to their annual convention taking place in Kansas City, Mo., but only the Democrats agreed to come.

That means that none of the GOP candidates,  not even Latino candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, will attend.

The Adobo Chronicles® spoke with all declared Republican candidates, exempt Trump, and they were one in saying that they have all but conceded the Latino vote to The Donald.

Despite his disparaging remarks about Mexicans (calling them “racists, drug addicts and criminals”), Trump, who leads in some new polls among the GOP presidential candidates, recently said that he will win the Latino vote.
