Leni Robredo Won’t Run For President In 2022, But She Wants The Presidency Now

IMG_0273MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – When asked in a live radio interview about her intention to run for President  in 2022, Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo said:  “2022 is still very far, but if you would ask me, I don’t have plans to run in 2022.”

This is what she told “Saksi sa Dobol B” program host Mike Enriquez over DZBB.

So that ends all speculation about Robredo’s ambition to succeed Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte’s six-year term ends in 2022.

Robredo’s spokesperson Georgina Hernandez clarified that the Vice President’s  statement should not be interpreted to mean that she doesn’t want to become president.

“She just doesn’t want to wait till 2022,” Hernandez said. “She wants it now.”

SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – The LGBTQ PRIDE Parade is just now winding down in the City by the Bay, but the one news that has sparked an even bigger celebration is Facebook’s launch of a new social media app that’s exclusively reserved for gay men and women.

It’s called GayBook.

For several years now, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been resisting the urge to create a new social media platform that would be Facebook’s version of the growing number of gay dating apps.

Aside from gay.com or Grindr, a quick Google search would call up many other gay dating and chat apps:

In an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Zuckerberg said it’s time for the popular social networking site to branch out to this all-important community. “They’re ten percent of the world’s population. That means by 2050, there will be 1 Billion of them, something that we at Facebook can no longer ignore.”

Unlike the regular Facebook app, Gaybook will pre-screen and approve all accounts.  One of the requirements is for account applicants to sign and upload a document certifying that they, indeed, are gay.

Happy PRIDE! Happy GayBook!

In One Tweet, Jim Paredes Exposes The Truth Behind The Yellow Party

IMG_2442SYDNEY, Australia (The Adobo Chronicles, Honolulu Bureau) – Retired Filipino-Australian entertainer Jim Paredes, one of the staunchest supporters of former President NoyNoy Aquino and the Liberal Party, just exposed the real agenda of the Yellowtards (as they are called.) In one tweet.

Paredes, who has been very vocal about the Philippines’ political atmosphere, and critical of President Rodrigo Duterte, must have been drunk or high on some crystallized substance when he hit the send button from his Twitter account. (He probably thought he was just sending it to his Yellow colleagues.)

His Twitter message says everything about what he and the Yellowtards are fighting for:

Ironically, Paredes’ tweet was retweeted by yet another member of the Yellow socmed army, Leah Navarro.

Do they have their act together?  It looks not.
