MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Leni Robredo has changed her mind about suing ‘Pepedederalismo’ blogger Andrew Olivar for the latter’s previous videos accusing the Vice President of, among others, traveling to South Africa just to have sex.
Instead, realizing the potential of having Olivar on her side, Robredo is hiring the ‘boklo’ as spokesperson for her ‘Angat Buhay’ program.
Robredo told The Adobo Chroniclesthat spokesperson Georgina Hernandez has not been effective in creating a favorable public image for the Vice President. With the instant fame of Olivar because of that viral video with Mocha Uson, Robredo thinks that the blogger could be a great asset to her office.
NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – The estate of Marvin Hamlisc, composer of the musical “A Chorus Line,” is suing Filipino blogger Drew Olivar for copyright infringement.
The lawsuit stems from Olivar’s now viral video with Mocha Uson, showing him displaying his song and dance moves supposedly calling attention to Federalism. His piece is entitled “Pepedederalismo.”
We won’t show you the Olivar video here. There’s a lot of that already floating on the Internet. What we will show you is an excerpt from one of the live performances of “A Chorus Line,” particulary of the song “Tits and Ass.”
We’ll let our readers decide on the merits of the lawsuit.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Mainstream media companies are expected to show up in full force on Monday when the Senate hearing on the alleged 2016 Electoral Fraud continues.
The last hearing, in which Atty. Glenn Chong questioned the Comelec and Smartmatic’s electronic transmissions a day before the actual May 9, 2016 elections, was not covered live by many Mainstream news outlets.
However, The Adobo Chronicles and Rappler will be barred from covering Monday’s hearing.
The Senate Secretariat explained the decision:
”Adobo Chronicles is a satire news site while Rappler is a fake news site.”
We at The Adobo Chronicles wholeheartedly accept the Senate decision.
