Leni Robredo Wants To Build A Wall Around The Philippines To Keep Chinese Nationals Out

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Philippine Vice  President Leni Robredo vehemently rejects suggestions that she has overblown the taho incident involving a Chinese national and a Filipino police officer.

Jiale Zhang, 23, a fashion design student, threw the soy snack at PO1 Willam Cristobal when she was not allowed to enter the train at the Boni Avenue Station of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) because she was carrying food. The MRT-3 management earlier imposed a liquid ban in train stations as a security measure.

Robredo called the incident a ‘wake up call’ and an insult to authorities, the Philippines and the  Filipino people.

Asked what she would do if she were President, Robredo said she would build a wall  made of indigenous materials around the entire Philippine Archipelago to keep Chinese nationals out, including all undocumented immigrants.

A la Donald Trump.

After Boracay And Manila Bay, Duterte Plans To Clean Up PCOO, DOH

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Riding high on the success of his environmental cleanup of Boracay island and Manila Bay, President Rodrigo Duterte told The Adobo Chronicles that next on his cleanup list are the Department of Health (DOH) and the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

Duterte said that these two agencies have tarnished the good reputation of his government and have been the poster children for incompetence and cluelessness.

Both DOH and PCOO have been criticized for how they handled the Dengvaxia vaccine controversy as well as the Measles outbreak in parts of the country.  PCOO was also accused of doing nothing to support the President’s campaign for the approval of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).

So in the next few days, expect heads to roll, albeit literally.
