WHITE PEOPLE HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED!

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles®) –   For far too long, white people have been absent from films, television shows, news anchor desks, advertising billboards and product labels. But finally, they are taking the spotlight away from people of color, thanks to a new MTV show, “White People.”

The documentary, produced by Filipino undocumented immigrant Jose Antonio Vargas, tackles the sensitive and delicate issue of white privilege in America.

“Its about time we see white faces on television, and not always people of color that have dominated both daytime and primetime slots,” said 23-year-old John Smith, a mass communications student at Harvard University.

Even the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) endorsed the documentary, saying that “the colored community has had a long history of privilege in America. It is time we shift the attention to white people. After all, they are Americans just like us.”

The forward-looking documentary airs tonight and can be viewed online starting at 8PM Eastern time. Dozens and dozens of viewing parties have been scheduled in white neighborhoods across the country.

It’ll surely be tomorrow’s hot topic around workplace water cooler stations and in break rooms.

‘SIX CALIFORNIAS’ BALLOT INITIATIVE ADVANCES, TIJUANA WANTS TO BE PART OF SOUTH CALIFORNIA

imageSILICON VALLEY,  California (The Adobo Chronicles®) – A plan backed by venture capitalist Tim Draper to split California into six states has gained enough signatures to make the November 2016 ballot, the plan’s backers say.

On Tuesday, Draper told USA Today the campaign had garnered 1.3 million signatures, well over the approximately 808,000 needed. The signatures will be submitted in Sacramento Wednesday for placement on the November 2016 ballot.

The six carved out states would look like this:

Jefferson: The northern part of the state, including Humboldt and Mendocino counties.

North California: The wine country counties of Sonoma and Napa, as well as the Sierra Nevada region.

Silicon Valley: Including San Francisco, San Jose and most of what’s considered the San Francisco Bay Area.

Central California: The vast central valley farm region, including Tulare and Fresno counties.

West California: Including Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.

South California: Including what’s called the Inland Empire of San Bernadino and Riverside, plus San Diego.

Upon  hearing the good news, residents in Tijuana in the southern U.S.-Mexico border rallied in the streets demanding that their town be included in the planned South California state.

North of the border, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors will vote Thursday on a resolution endorsing Tijuana’s inclusion.

“Everyday, thousands cross the border — legally and illegally — into and out of Tijuana for work , business or tourism,” the board resolution states, “and it is in the best interest of San Diego and its economy to lift travel restrictions between the county and Tijuana.  What could be a better way to do that than to make Tijuana a part of South California and the U.S.?”

Draper told reporters he was open to the idea of annexing TJ to South California.

DEMOCRATS FUELING DONALD TRUMP’S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles®) – NBC is reporting that the U.S. media is fueling Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

With 16 Republican candidates running for president, most contenders are struggling to get media coverage, which helps make them better-known to voters and spread their message. That hasn’t been a problem for Trump.

An independent analysis shows that 46 percent of the media coverage over the last month about the GOP candidates was about Trump, compared to 13 percent of articles about Jeb Bush.

Trump, in a period from June 14 to July 12, received more coverage than the combined total of Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, generally considered the three leading GOP candidates.

But an investigative report by The Adobo Chronicles® shows that it’s the Democrats, not the media, that have catapulted Trump to the No. 1 spot in national polls on who among the declared Republican candidates should be anointed by the GOP.  Trump now leads the field of GOP candidates by double digits,  24% to be exact.

It turns out that Democrat poll respondents have been voting at a 100% rate for Trump.

The Democratic strategy seems to be to  ensure that Trump gets the GOP nomination which would all but result in Hillary Clinton winning the electoral  votes in all the 50 states.

Unless the Republicans get their act together, America is headed for its first woman in the White House. And we’re not talking First Lady here!
