LIKE A CRY BABY, DONALD TRUMP COMPLAINS TO CNN’S DON LEMON ABOUT FOX NEWS’ MEGYN KELLY

imageATLANTA, Georgia (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – After being battered by a female moderator during Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate, Donald Trump desperately needed to  blow off some steam with someone –  like another news anchor from  another cable news network.

Trump found his ally in CNN’s Don Lemon.  After all, he is his namesake.

In an interview with Don Lemon on “CNN Tonight,” Trump on Friday accused FOX News of asking “vicious,” unfair questions at the debate and called Kelly “overrated.” Kelly had pressed Trump about misogynistic, sexist comments in his past.

On CNN, Trump called the questions “ridiculous,” called Kelly “off-base,” and said, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes.  Blood coming out of her wherever.”

Trump told Lemon that he didn’t know whether he’d participate in a future FOX News debate. “I didn’t think they were fair.”

Lemon volunteered to moderate the next GOP presidential debate and promised Trump he would be more fair than Kelly.

Lemon’s ratings are significantly down and so he needed a boost in viewership. He thinks that moderating the next GOP Debate will boost his and CNN’s ratings.

Lemon’s ratings suffered a setback recently when debris from the missing Malaysia Airlines  Flight 370 washed ashore in Reunion Island in the French Indian Ocean.

During CNN’s desperate search for the missing plane, Lemon had speculated that the jet may have been sucked up by a black hole or “kidnapped” by a higher power. Now that theory has gone down the drain. Or the ocean.

PHILIPPINES: VICTIMS OF TYPHOON HAIYAN PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT

PALO, Leyte, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – The Aquino government proudly announced recently that it has found P350 Billion ($8 Billion) in savings from the 2014 budget, yet it has failed to release funds previously approved for Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) rehabilitation.

It is no wonder that the United Nations, in a scathing report, gave the Aquino administration a failing grade for the dismal effort to build decent and sufficient permanent housing for those displaced by the devastating typhoon almost two years ago.

A total of 205,000 housing units needed to be built or reconstructed in the typhoon-hit areas, but the Philippine government has built just 2.5 per cent of the units.

It has taken foreign governments to undertake efforts to provide housing for the thousands who lost their homes because of Haiyan.

The Australian government has officially handed over housing units to around 8,000 persons or 1,533 families who were affected by the super typhoon. The units were turned over in a ceremony last July 28 at the Palo Municipal Hall in Palo, Leyte led by Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Bill Tweddell.

“Australia and the Philippines have a deep and warm relationship covering broad areas including development, trade and defense cooperation. Australia will always stand ready to support the Philippines and the Filipino people in times of disasters,” said Tweddell.

During the turnover ceremonies, the housing beneficiaries pledged their allegiance to the Australian government. “If our own government cannot help us with our basic needs, we might as well recognize the foreign government that is helping us,” one of the housing beneficiaries said.

Along with the ownership titles for their homes, the grateful residents also received their Australian citizenship papers.

FOX NEWS’ MEGYN KELLY SUES DONALD TRUMP FOR HARASSMENT

NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Megyn Kelly is suing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for harassment after that feisty exchange on live television in Thursday night’s GOP presidential debate.

The FOX News anchor, in one of the highlights of the evening, asked Trump to explain his often-disparaging comments about women.

“You’ve called women ‘fat pigs, dogs, slobs, disgusting animals,'” she said.

“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump said, cutting Kelly’s question off mid-sentence.

“And honestly Megyn, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry,” he added. “I’ve been very nice to you, although I could probably maybe not be, based on the way you have treated me. ”

Kelly took that as a threat and said that she feared for her safety.

In a complaint filed in New York City’s superior court, Kelly sought for a restraining order to prevent Trump from coming within 50 feet of wherever is she. She is also asking the court to  ban the real estate mogul from using his Twitter account to further insult and criticize her.

In a series of late-night tweets, Trump blasted  Kelly for singling him out during the debate.

Meanwhile, Rosie O’Donnel is also reportedly considering filing a separate complaint against Trump for defamation of character.

Feminist attorney Gloria Allred has confirmed that she will be representing both Kelly and O’Donnel in the lawsuits on a pro-bono basis.  “It’s not about the money, she said, it’s about standing up for women.”
