Donald Trump Calls For Press Conference On The Exact Day And Time As Super Bowl Half-Time Show

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – It must be related to his insecurity or attention deficit disorder, but President Donald Trump wants to prove to America that he is more popular than Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga, as we all know, will perform during Sunday’s Super Bowl LI’s half-time show in what is considered the most-watched television spectacle.

Today, The White House announced that Donald Trump will go on live television to make a very important announcement.  The president will go live at exactly the same as the half-time show and has asked all the news and cable networks to cover his annoucement.

Press Secretary Sean Spicer has declined to say what Trump’s announcement will be about, but he assured the American people that it will be much more important and spectacular than Lady Gaga’s performance.

Rappler Admits To Forging Its SEC Registration, Corrects Its Filing

img_8950MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – After weeks of silence regarding accusations that it violated the Philippine Constitution when it filed its business registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the online-only news outfit Rappler has come clean.

Critics have charged Rappler of lying in its SEC registration as a way to skirt around the law which prohibits foreigners from owning or investing in news media.  Instead of registering as a news media outfit, it indicated its filing status as ” Other Monetary Intermediation” which allowed it to secure foreign investment for its company.

Rappler CEO Maria Ressa said that the “error” has been corrected, and posted a copy of its revised SEC registration on the Rappler website.

It is now registered under the classification of “Rap, Music, Recording” with the company type “Entertainment.”

All’s well that ends well.

Did America Elect A Body Double For President?

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – There are conspiracy theories, then there are other conspiracy theories.

During the 2016  U.S. presidential campaign, when Hillary Clinton collapsed during an event commemorating the 9-11 tragedy in New York, it was rumored that the presidential candidate who later emerged from her daughter’s apartment feeling great was a body double.

Now, there is a new conspiracy theory that is spreading on the Internet that the Donald Trump whom Americans elected as their 45th president was a body double.

There had been a lot of talk that the real Donald Trump didn’t really want the job of president, so he let a body double continue the campaign after his initial declaration of candidacy.  The double happened to be elected.

So now, the Donald Trump body double who is now president, is apparently merely  a public face and fake persona who’s taking orders from Steve Bannon, the White House chief strategist  believed to be calling the shots for the “Trump” administration.
