MARCO RUBIO ACCUSES ABC OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

HOLLYWOOD, Florida (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Yesterday, we reported that the new season series of ‘The Muppets’ will premiere next Tuesday on ABC with additional new cast featuring 12 of the Republican presidential candidates.

One candidate, Cuban American Marco Rubio, was left out of the cast.

Upon seeing the promo for the new “Muppets” with the faces of his fellow Republican candidates, Rubio immediately cried ‘foul’ and accused ABC of racial discrimination. ‘They invited and cast all the leading Republican presidential candidates except myself, a Latino,’ Rubio said. ‘What is ABC’s beef with a Cuban American?’image

ABC executives responded to Rubio, saying that the new show only had room for 12 people, considering that it already had a cast of dozens of puppets.

But  today, ABC seemed to have found its way out of Rubio’s complaint. Former Texas Governor Rick Perry just announced that he was dropping out of the presidential race, creating a vacancy in The Muppets cast.

So Rubio is in.  All is well that ends well!

CALIFORNIA RANCHERS DISCOVER PIG WITH FLUORESCENT BLUE FAT, FILAMS SHOWCASE FIRST BLUE LECHON

imageMORGAN HILL, California (The Adobo Chronicles®) – When ranchers in Morgan Hill, California shot and cut open a wild hog, they realized what they had in front of them was much more than your average swine. The pig’s insides were cotton-candy blue color.

The ranchers said  that the animal is healthy and normal in every way—except for its blue-colored fat, which runs throughout its entire body.

Scientists at Stanford University who examined the pig weren’t sure whether the blue color was a result of some bacterial or environmental contamination, or the result of a genetic defect. So they asked a Filipino American family in Palo Alto to cook the pig the Filipino way — lechon (roasted pig).

Lo and behold, while the lechon looked as normal as a pig roasted in an open-fire pit, blue hues seemed to permeate through the pig’s skin, making for a first in the history of lechon-making: a blue lechon!image

Other than the patches of blue, those who did partake of the lechon dinner attest to the fact that it tasted much like the regular Pinoy delicacy: crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside.

The scientists then determined that the pig’s blue fat was genetic and the pig was fit for human consumption.

BOBBY JINDAL LIKENS DONALD TRUMP TO KIM KARDASHIAN

CaptureNEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (The Adobo Chronicles®) – When you’re running for your party’s nomination for president, and you’re among those in the bottom of a  field of 17 candidates, you’ve got to change your campaign strategy. Forget the issues and attack your opponents, especially the front runner.

That’s exactly what Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal did on Thursday as he unloaded on Donald Trump, calling him “insecure,” “weak” and “dangerous.”

Jindal also said of Trump: “Just because a lot of people like watching Kim Kardashian — we wouldn’t put her in the White House, either.”

In a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Jindal said that Trump and Kardashian are in the same league, being both products of reality television.

“Like Kardashian, Donald Trump is a narcissist and egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself,” Jindal said.

Trump and Kardashian both reacted to Jindal’s barbs.

Trump said, “Jindal has no legal standing to make such statements.  He’s an anchor baby, and I’m going to make sure that if I become president, he will be deported.”

Kardashian on the other hand told The Adobo Chronicles®, “Let see him get naked and let’s see who has a better behind.”

And the 2016 political season shifts into high gear.
