PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT AQUINO PREPARING FOR HIS SECOND SIX-YEAR TERM

imageManila, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – NoyNoy Aquino is reportedly busy preparing for his second six-year term as president of the Philippines, despite a provision in the constitution that limits the presidential term to one six-year term. This nation of 100 Million people will go to the polls in 2016 to pick their new president.

The Adobo Chronicles has uncovered a top-secret memorandum from Malacañang (the presidential palace) setting aside 10 Billion pesos from the president’s Disbursement Acceleration Program, or DAP, to fund a nationwide grassroots campaign to re-elect Aquino even if his name is not on the ballot.

The strategy would be to recruit 51 Million Filipino voters to write in Aquino’s name on the official ballot come election day. Each write-in voter will be paid an undisclosed amount from the DAP funds.

With majority of the Filipinos ‘voting’ for Aquino, the election case will certainly be brought before the Philippine Supreme Court for a decision.  Given that the average number of years for the Supreme Court to decide on cases is six years, this will delay the proclamation of a new president until 2022. In the meantime, Aquino will be acting president beyond his current six-year term.

Even if the court eventually declares a different elected president, Aquino would have already served an additonal six years as acting president.

Now if the court decides to respect the people’s write-in vote, Aquino would then have  another six years as president until 2028.

Aquino’s brilliant advisers have just taught the world how one can become a president for life without having to declare Martial Law!

Manila, Philippines –  In the U.S., the First Family will host the 136th annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 21 which is expected to draw 30,000 people to the South Lawn of the presidential residence. Those in luck will be able to take home keepsake eggs in bold colors stamped with the signatures of President and Mrs. Barack Obama.

In the Philippines, President Noynoy Aquino, in his bid to bring Malacañang Palace (the presidential residence) closer to the people, has announced the first ever “balut hunt” this coming Easter Sunday. He hopes to make this an annual tradition even among his presidential successors. This new tradition, cooked up by Aquino’s brilliant press office staff, will feature a hunt for red, white, blue and yellow- painted balut with Aquino’s thumb print on them, hidden in the unkempt lawn of the palace.  Those are the colors of the Philippine flag. The event will be open to a maximum of 1,000 children of families who must pay a registration fee of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (in excess of $2,000) per attendee.

The deadline for registration has been set for April 18, Good Friday. No checks or credit cards accepted. Cash only.

Quezon City, Philippines – Kris Aquino, sister of Philippine President NoyNoy Aquino, has denied rumors that she is planning to run for vice president in 2016. The television host  made the denial during her show where co-host Boy Abunda asked her to categorically state, under oath and with her hand resting on a bible, whether or not she has intentions to become the country’s next vice president.

“Postively, not true.  Walang basis for lahat ng (all the) rumors about this,” Aquino responded in her trademark Taglish (Tagalog-English).

“You know me well, Boy,” she added, “I come from a very religious pamilya (family), and I cannot lie under oath or with my hand on top of this bible. I am not planning, and will not run para sa (for) position of VP.” But I am running for president!”

Minutes after she made the statement on her TV show, a  Facebook page was established by her fans and supporters –   ‘Kris Aquino For President’ – and received 1,000 “likes” in the first five minutes.
