CALIFORNIA SET TO EXECUTE ALL GAY PEOPLE

imageSACRAMENTO, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – This is not even a hoax. It’s going to happen.  Well, if California voters approve a ballot measure being proposed by a nut case —  a Southern California lawyer who wants to make it legal to shoot gay people just because — they’re gay.

Matt McLaughlin from Huntington Beach has started a petition to make it legal to execute gay people for engaging in what he calls ‘sodomy.’

How to spot people engaging in sodomy is the tricky part about the proposed ballot initiative — unless, of course, they do it in public (like during San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair?). Or perhaps requiring all two men or two women who live in the same household to install cameras that would automatically livecast what happens in their bedrooms.

A minimum of 365,000 signatures are needed to get any initiative on the ballot in California. So the challenge for McLaughlin is to find 364,999 other nut cases in the golden state which is not necessarily an impossible proposition.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – The biggest news coming out of the Office of the President in a long time was that NoyNoy Aquino had a date with Pia Wurtzbach just before the 2015 Miss Philippines Beauty Pageant finals held a few weeks ago.

President Aquino, a bachelor, has been frequently dodged with media questions about his love life, which, in effect amounts to zero, nada, zilch.

Wurtzbach, who ended up winning the Miss Philippines Universe crown, said in a post-pageant TV interview with Aquino’s sister, Kris, that she and the president are in communication. “He’s fun to talk to.”

(In that same interview, Kris promised Wurtzbach that she will be a good sister-in-law)

But did the couple really go on a date that night?

Not so, according to a close friend of Aquino.

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) director-general Joel Villanueva, said Aquino and Wurtzbach were in a group date before the Binibining Pilipinas pageant night.

“I would say it’s a group date because it was an event eh so, magkakasama kami, (we were all together), ” Villanueva told reporters on the sidelines of a TESDA event.

So, let’s put a stop to the rumor mill.  It was a threesome!

MISS PHILIPPINES PIA WURTZBACH WILL USE AN INTERPRETER IN MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – Pia Wurtzbach’s answer to the final question during the recent Miss Philippines Beauty Pageant was memorable: “Always think before you click.”

However, it didn’t really directly answer the question on what she thinks about Internet censorship. (In a subsequent TV interview, she qualified that her answer meant that we need self-censorship.)

Wurtzbach ended up winning the Miss Philippines Universe crown, nonetheless.

As she prepares to compete in the next Miss Universe Pageant which will be held in Budapest, Hungary, Wurtzbach has been advised by Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) chairperson Stella Marquez-Araneta to have an interpreter should she make it to the 5 finalists. BPCI is the franchise holder of Miss Universe in the Philippines.

(Many Filipina candidates to Miss Universe made it all the way to the top 5 in recent years, but their answers to the final question always seemed to have cost them the crown.)

In an interview with The Adobo Chronicles, Wurtzbach confirmed that indeed, she will use an interpreter. “I will answer the final question in German.”

Wurtzbach is half Filipina and half German.

While the main language spoken in Budapest is Hungarian, a good 11 percent of its population speak German.  So it may be a smart move on the part of Wurtzbach to speak her mind in German to better endear herself to the pageant audience as well as the judges.

We wish her the best and Viel Gluck! That’s “Good Luck!” in German.
