MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Before Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach became Miss Philippines and Miss Universe, it has been rumored that Philippine President Aquino was dating her.  No less than Aquino’s showbiz sister, Kris, fueled the rumor during an interview with Wurtzbach in one of her TV shows, where she asked Wurtzbach, “Are you dating my brother?”

Well, that rumor has been put to rest.  Wurtzbach herself denied the rumors during a radio interview in New York after she won the Miss Universe crown. “That’s so no,” she said during the interview when asked if the rumors were true.

Now we know of course that Wurtzbach is dating America’s “Sexiest Doctor Alive,” Mikhail Varshavski.

But Aquino seems to be focusing his attention on beauty queens. The latest rumor is that the bachelor president was seen dating the reigning Miss U.S.A and Miss Universe second runner-up Olivia Jordan.  Jordan is currently in the country where she sat on the panel of judges for Sunday’s 2016  ‘Binibining Pilipinas’ (Miss Philippines) beauty pageant.

Both Aquino and Jordan were mum on the rumors, so we may need to check later with Wurtzbach. After all, the two beauty queens are roommates in New York. Girls don’t lie to each other, do they?
