Colorado Springs, Colorado (The Adobo Chronicles) – Filipino American Michelle Malkin is a conservative blogger, political commentator and author whose weekly syndicated column appears in a number of newspapers and websites. She is a Fox News Channel contributor and has been a guest on MSNBC, C-SPAN and national radio programs.
The 44 year-old Obama basher rose to prominence after she published her 2004 book entitled, “In Defense of Internment: The Case for ‘Racial Profiling’ in World War II and the War on Terror.” In this book, she defended the U.S. government’s internment of 112,000 Japanese Americans in prison camps during World War II, and argued that the same procedures could be used on Arab- and Muslim-Americans today.
Most of her blog writings are anti-Obama, anti-Democrat and anti-almost anything that is opposed to her ultra conservative views.
Today, The Adobo Chronicles uncovered a disturbing fact about her conservative blog: it is funded by the Obama White House (see screen capture).

We can only speculate either of two things: one, that she speaks from both sides of her mouth, pretending to be conservative when deep down in her heart she is really a liberal; or two, that The White House is funding her anti-liberal rants to demonstrate the stupidity of the conservative movement in the country.
We’ll let our readers decide.
Manila, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles) – First came the news that 9TV will become CNN Philippines in early 2015. Now, the international cable news network is reportedly in negotiations to acquire SWN (So What’s News?), a Filipino news satire site.
An unmaned CNN spokesperson told reporters that CNN is continuously looking to expand its operations around the world and is constantly searching for existing news media outlets to acquire or partner with.
“SWN’s mission statement is very consistent with what CNN is trying to accomplish in its international news operations,” the spokesperson said, adding that “like SWN, we are committed to bring positive, accurate, entertaining and timely news to our millions of customers. And just like SWN, we love to report on fiction.”
On its web site, SWN describes its product as “news that won’t make you depressed to read the news.” Critics who oppose the CNN-SWN merger pointed out that CNN’s reporting is known to make people very depressed, “so a merger with SWN is not a wise move at all.”
SWN refused to comment because negotiations are still ongoing.
