Colorado Springs, Colorado (The Adobo Chronicles) – Filipino American Michelle Malkin is a conservative blogger, political commentator and author whose weekly syndicated column appears in a number of newspapers and websites.  She is a Fox News Channel contributor and has been a guest on MSNBC, C-SPAN and national radio programs.

The 44 year-old Obama basher rose to prominence after she published her 2004 book entitled, “In Defense of Internment: The Case for ‘Racial Profiling’ in World War II and the War on Terror.”  In this book, she defended the U.S. government’s internment of 112,000 Japanese Americans in prison camps during World War II, and argued that the same procedures could be used on Arab- and Muslim-Americans today.

Most of her blog writings are anti-Obama, anti-Democrat and anti-almost anything that is opposed to her ultra conservative views.

Today, The Adobo Chronicles uncovered a disturbing fact about her conservative blog: it is funded by the Obama White House (see screen capture).

We can only speculate either of two things:  one, that she speaks from both sides of her mouth, pretending to be conservative when deep down in her heart she is really a liberal; or two, that The White House is funding her anti-liberal rants to demonstrate the stupidity of the conservative movement in the country.

We’ll let our readers decide.

imageWashington, D.C. – Every year around Thanksgiving, the President of the United States pardons a turkey, sparing it from being killed, roasted and served on the holiday dinner table. The White House tradition was instituted by then President George H.W. Bush in 1989, although many believe Harry Truman was technically the first president to pardon a turkey.

Now, President Barack Obama has started a new White House tradition which he is calling the Presidential Easter Pardon, in celebration of the Easter holiday. Obama said this involves granting presidential pardon to a worthy individual who has committed non-violent misdemeanors or small infractions of U.S. law.

On Easter Sunday, Obama will grant the first-ever Presidential Easter Pardon to Canadian citizen and teen idol Justin Bieber. Bieber has repeatedly been charged with misdemeanors and violations including driving under the influence (DUI), resisting arrest and drag racing. The presidential pardon all but erases all obstacles to Bieber in applying for U.S. citizenship.

Many Americans have expressed outrage over Obama’s choice for the pardon. It comes on the heels of a recent petition on Whitehouse.gov asking Obama to deport Bieber for his arrogance and disrespect for the law. The petition drew more than 250,000 signatures, way above the threshold that the White House has set in order to merit a response. The White House did respond to the petition with “no comment.”

Bieber will receive the pardon medal from President Obama at ceremonies in the White House South Lawn on Easter Sunday.

Washington, D.C. – While the rest of the Fourth Estate are up in arms over what they call the Obama administration’s attempt to stifle their First Amendment rights, The Adobo Chronicles today was granted full, unconditional access to all White House meetings, press briefings, private audiences with the President and a 24-access to all rooms except the Presidential bedroom.

This unprecedented accreditation comes on the heels of complaints by American media over the Obama administration’s not-so-covert efforts to trace, identify and punish confidential sources of news media reports, including whistleblowers.  Very recently, photojournalists were restricted on which White House events they can shoot. The White House, however, said it will provide the news media with copies of official photographs taken by the administration’s own photographers.  News media associations described this new policy as “The White House distributing press releases for newsrooms to publish or disseminate.”

Since its founding in June of this year, The  Adobo Chronicles has been gaining worldwide popularity, with its website recording an average of 1 Million hits per month, and counting. International publications like The International Business Times and The Latin Times have recently relied on The Adobo Chronicles as a credible source for their own stories, especially with regards to beauty pageants and the aftermath of the Haiyan typhoon in the Philippines.  Also, it was The Adobo Chronicles that broke the stories about CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s appointment as new ambassador to the Philippines and the state of California’s proposal to totally ban lechon (Filipino roasted pig), roasted duck and boiled crab.

At the last White House press briefing, President Obama welcomed The Adobo Chronicles, describing it as the media’s “new beacon of light.”
