QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – The ABS-CBN Rank and File Employees’ Union and the ABS-CBN Supervisory Employees’ Union have denounced efforts to sabotage their online petition asking legislators to renew their network’s broacasting franchise.
The unions said the attacks came from bots and fake accounts and used obscenities, cuss words and repetitive names as user names. They said they are cleaning up their database right now and will relaunch with proper security to prevent another attack. (The site for the online petition has paused its counter, temporarily.)
In the meantime the unions released the names of the bots and trolls. (For lack of space, The Adobo Chronicles is unable to print the entire list. We also skipped obscenities and cuss words because we are a family-oriented site)

If you were one of the bots and trolls and we missed listing you, please add your name in the comment section. (No obscenities, please. They will be deleted)
QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – An online petition calling for the renewal of the broadcasting franchise of ABS-CBN has garnered more than one million signatures!
Launched by the employees of the network, recently shutdown by the National Telecommunications Commission due to the expiration of its franchise, the petition appeals to members of the House of Representatives for the “immediate discussion and passing of the renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.”
No less than Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and U.S. President Donald Trump have signed the petition.
Supporters and sympathizers of the network may sign the petition by logging on to kapamilyaforever.com. They can vote as many times as they want, even if they are robots.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Many Filipinos have complained of the confusion brought about by their government’s levels and guidelines on community quarantine as part of the fight against Covid-19.
Not even Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque or Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar could come up with a (actress) Kim Chiu-type explanation of ECQ, MECQ, GCQ or MGCQ.
In the interest of public service, The Adobo Chronicles has come up with a simpler infographic that translates the various community quarantine levels into color codes.
We apologize to our non-Tagalog speaking readers, but an English translation of the quarantine guidelines is not currently available. But seek the help of a Filipino near you.
