A One-peso Budget For Office Of The Vice President!

In a spectacular display of modern fiscal wisdom, netizens have rallied around the innovative idea of giving the Office of the Vice President (OVP) a zero budget after Sara Duterte’s masterclass in dodging questions at the House of Representatives.

Critics, missing the true art of politics, have labeled her as arrogant, self-entitled, and disrespectful—clearly mistaking these as flaws rather than the essential qualities of high office. Representative France Castro even likened her to a squid, but why stop there? A squid only releases ink when under pressure, while our Vice President managed to do so while basking in a House inquiry.

The Adobo Chronicles, ever the beacon of financial prudence, advocates for a more generous P1 budget. After all, why waste the government’s precious ink on an office that could run just as well with a single coin? Austerity, thy name is genius!

Quo Vadis, Imee Marcos?

Senator Imee Marcos, ever the astute political navigator, made headlines earlier this year by pledging to salvage the UniTeam between her brother, President Bongbong Marcos, and her BFF, VP Sara Duterte. With a wink and a nod, she assured everyone that unity was the goal—despite her very public disagreements with Bongbong’s policies. Fast forward a few months, and the UniTeam is as unified as a jigsaw puzzle missing half its pieces.

Now, as Bongbong’s ratings soar and Sara’s plummet, one can’t help but wonder: will Imee stick to her original pledge, or will she, like a seasoned acrobat, gracefully pivot mid-air to land safely on the side with better prospects?

After all, 2025 looms, and the question of whether blood is thicker than political water remains. Whatever her next move, one thing’s for sure—she’ll make it with a smile that’s as inscrutable as it is strategic.

An Ode To Apollo And Alice

No bunker, no cave, no need for a fight,
Just book yourself economy, and take flight.
Pack light, blend in, wear a smile so bright,
No need for first class, keep it tight.

When the law is sniffing, don’t you fret,
A ticket to nowhere is your safest bet.
Slip through the gate, no fuss, no clue,
Just an ordinary traveler, nothing to pursue.

The law looks for names, but yours they’ll miss,
With a passport in hand, sealed with a kiss.
Glide through the skies, as if on a breeze,
Dodging justice is as simple as you please.

When you land far away, just a face in the crowd,
Freedom’s the only thing you’re allowed.
So forget the chase, the struggle, the strain—
The law can’t catch what it can’t name.
