Broom Prices In Baguio Up 500 Percent!

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – What used to be a P160 cost for a soft broom (walis tambo) is now P800 at the Baguio City Public Market.

The sudden, 500% price increase for this popular souvenir and essential household cleaning item in the summer capital of the Philippines was brought about by yesterday’s siege on the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump protesters.

In one of the photos that went viral, a protester is seen holding up what seemed to be a broom that may have originated in Baguio. The photo greatly increased the demand for the item not only in the U.S. but even in the Philippines where it is made.

It’s the law of supply and demand that seems to be at work here.

Joe Biden Could Be The 47th, Not 46th President

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States, and Joe Biden is poised to be the 46th. But that could change.

Amid calls for Donald Trump to resign, be impeached, or be stripped of the Presidency through the 25th Amendment, Biden could be the 47th President.

If Trump is ousted and Mike Pence becomes President, albeit for just two weeks or so, then the Vice President will become the 46th President.

Ergo, Biden will be the 47th.

Banned On Twitter, Facebook And Instagram, Donald Trump Signs Up For Grindr

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Donald Trump will do everything within his power to maintain a bully pulpit for his outrageous claims about an election stolen from him.

After being temporarily banned from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter because of his false claims and incendiary comments that have let to yesterday’s Capitol siege by supporters, Trump has signed up for an alternative social networking app, Grindr.

Grindr is considered the world’s largest social app for the LGBTQ community. A quick check on the app revealed Trump among the “new faces.”

Anything that would get his message across.
