Donald Trump To Outsource His Border Wall To The Philippines

D1ACEBE9-7E56-48C5-ADEC-85CF35C1F52CWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – U.S. President Donald Trump isn’t a bit worried that Congress will not give him the funds needed to build his great wall along the southern border. He has repeatedly said that he is going to build that wall no matter what.

Today, The White House announced that Trump has decided to outsource the building of pre-fabricated walls to the Philippines.

”It will not only greatly reduce our costs, but will also further enhance the economic partnership between the U.S. and its former colony,” a White House spokesperson said.

The pre-fabricated walls will be made of Philippine bamboo.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte confirmed the agreement with Trump, saying that it is all part of his government’s “Build, build, build” program.

Leni Robredo Wants To Build A Wall Around The Philippines To Keep Chinese Nationals Out

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Philippine Vice  President Leni Robredo vehemently rejects suggestions that she has overblown the taho incident involving a Chinese national and a Filipino police officer.

Jiale Zhang, 23, a fashion design student, threw the soy snack at PO1 Willam Cristobal when she was not allowed to enter the train at the Boni Avenue Station of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) because she was carrying food. The MRT-3 management earlier imposed a liquid ban in train stations as a security measure.

Robredo called the incident a ‘wake up call’ and an insult to authorities, the Philippines and the  Filipino people.

Asked what she would do if she were President, Robredo said she would build a wall  made of indigenous materials around the entire Philippine Archipelago to keep Chinese nationals out, including all undocumented immigrants.

A la Donald Trump.

Aristocrat Restaurant To Serve Free Meals To Volunteers Of Manila Bay Cleanup

A81EA3D5-065B-4BF0-949E-B8B4EE3D6E9AMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In an effort to make amends, Aristocrat along Roxas Boulevard wants to offer free meals to all volunteers of the Manila Bay cleanup, in exchange for the rescinding of DENR’s cease and desist order for the restaurant’s continued operation.

Aristocrat was among establishments tagged and ordered closed by DENR for contributing to the pollution of Manila Bay.

A spokesperson for Aristocrat told The Adobo Chronicles that they will serve their famous barbecue chicken with java rice and atchara (pickled green papaya) to all those who volunteer to help in the clearnup on weekends.

Aristocrat’s move is in sharp contrast to Manila City Hall’s recent announcement that those who volunteer to help in the Manila Bay clearnup need to secure a permit.
