Philippine Catholic Bishops, Adobo Chronicles Release List Of Fake News Sites And Presstitutes

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Quite oddly, the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) released its list of fake websites at the same time that The Adobo Chronicles debuted its list of presstitutes.

This twin release will definitely help Filipino netizens determine the authenticity of what they are reading on the Internet or encountering in the media and other organizations.

When in doubt, refer to this twin guide:

IMG_2418WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Both Raissa Robles and The Adobo Chronicles have reason to celebrate these days.

The U.S. Library of Congress has purchased copies of Robles’ book, “Marcos Martial Law: Never Again” and the book version of The Adobo Chronicles.

The purchase is a great honor  for the Philippines.

Robles announced the good news on her Twitter account, while The Adobo Chronicles is yet to formally announce the purchase.

Trillanes May Be Suing BBC, But Adobo Chronicles Will Not Sue Site that Plagiarized Us (With Update)

IMG_2395MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Philippine Senator Antonio Trillanes may be suing BBC for that infamous interview he had with BBC’s Stephen Sackur, but The Adobo  Chronicles has no plans of suing ourdailyrevelationsph.com for plagiarizing our ‘story’ on Trillanes.

It appears that the site in question copied a bulk of our Trillanes ‘story’ and passed it as legit news.

Our followers — or most anyway — know that we are a satire site.  We have disclaimers all over our site that help our readers distinguish between what’s fact and fiction in our ‘stories.’

We are a site that’s patented under U.S. laws as satire, so any attempt to copy us without appropriate credit and disclaimer is a violation of U.S. law.

But we’re not in the business of lawsuits, so we’ll let the plagiarism just pass us by.

We’ll let the brilliant analysis of memebuster make the case for us.

We hate fake news, so we take our satire work very seriously.

Oh, and ourdailyrevelationsph.com, you can apologize, and we’ll accept.

UPDATE: ourdailyrevelationsph.com has apologized and we have accepted the apology.
