CNN RENAMES ITSELF, NOW CALLED CTNN

black holeAtlanta Georgia – In its desperate attempt to solve the mystery of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, CNN has finally found its niche, and has decided to rename the network, once considered the leader in 24-hour cable news.

No other television news network has dared to espouse its own theories about what happened to the doomed flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. CNN had too much air time to fill with little to no information to go by, so its anchors and experts speculated on their own, saying that “God may have stolen the missing plane,” and used unconventional visual aids — like a toy plane — to make their case. In a recent news segment anchored by Don Lemon, CNN gathered a powerball group of experts (see photo)  to try to lend credibility to its latest theory:  the plane was swallowed by a black hole.

Since the network began its 24-hour coverage of Flight 370, CNN executives said that viewership has increased by  more than 100%, and they attributed it to the unconventional treatment of this mystery by its anchors and experts.

As of March 21, CNN’s new name will be CTNN – Cable Tabloid News Network.

$10,000 AND CUPCAKES FROM ELLEN SHOW DIDN’T IMPRESS 3-YEAR-OLD YOUTUBE SENSATION

Burbank, California – Last week, The Adobo Chronicles reported that three-year-old YouTube sensation Mateo Beltran who was videotaped arguing with his mom Linda over cupcakes demanded that he be paid $50,000 for his and his mom’s appearance on the Ellen Show.  Upon watching the YouTube video, host Ellen DeGeneres invited mother and son to be guests on her show.

This week, Mateo and Linda did appear on Ellen’s show, but to the little boy’s disappointment, all he got was $10,000 and some cupcakes.  Just before coming out on the show, Mateo was informed about the gift of cash and cupcakes.  He was not happy.

So during the live taping of the show, Mateo did nothing close to his witty, argumentative and endearing performance that millions saw on YouTube.  He just sat on Linda’s lap, had one-word responses to Ellen’s questions, and basically did not pay attention to what was going on.

Ellen was of course equally disappointed, but learned a good lesson that no one, not even a celebrity television host, can shortchange a smart three-year-old, especially one named Mateo Beltran.

Here is a clip of Mateo appearance on the Ellen Show.

THREE-YEAR-OLD YOUTUBE SENSATION DEMANDS $50,000 TO APPEAR ON THE ELLEN SHOW

San Jose, California – Chances are you have seen the YouTube video of three-year-old Matthew (Mateo) Beltran of San Jose, California, arguing with his mom Linda about how he should be allowed to have cupcakes for dinner.

The video went viral, generating more than two million hits and counting. TV host Ellen DeGeneres featured the video on her show and invited Mateo and Linda to be guests on her show.

Mateo likes to argue, his mom said. “When I told him Ellen wants to invite us to her show, he argued with me as usual. This time it wasn’t about cupcakes, but about money.” Mateo wanted Ellen to pay up for his appearance on the show. “We need to charge Ellen $50,000,” Mateo said.

When Linda told Mateo that “this isn’t about money,” Mateo argued: “But it is Linda, it is! Listen, Linda, education is getting to be more and more expensive. I don’t want to be stuck with paying huge educational loans when I grow up.”

Linda lost this argument, and both she and Mateo are awaiting word from Ellen.

Here’s the YouTube video that went viral.
