TP Next PH Ambassador To The U.K.?

LONDON, United Kingdom (The Adobo Chronicles, London Bureau) – Sometimes, to get to the top, you have to hob-nob with those at the top. This seems to be the modus operandi of vlogger RJ Nieto, a.k.a. Thinking Pinoy as many have noticed he has been socializing with First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos. The FL has been rumored to have a say in appointments made by this administration.

TP never fails to have a selfie photo with Mrs. Marcos wherever and whenever their paths cross — in Manila, in New York, and now, in London.

An unreliable source told The Adobo Chronicles that TP has been whispering into the FL’s ear about his desire to be appointed PH ambassador to the U.K.

TP is currently in London pursuing some math course at a local university. If appointed, this will save the vlogger tons of money as he does not have to personally pay for his living expenses while attending university. Not that he cannot afford it at the moment.

We tried to reach current ambassador Teddy Boy Locsin for comment but he has been very busy preparing for President Marcos’ visit to London to attend King Charles’ coronation.

Biden Called Marcos ‘MOM’ Three Times

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Self-proclaimed International Relations (IR) expert Sass Rogando Sasot criticized Philippine President Bongbong Marcos for calling U.S. President Joe Biden ‘sir’ three times during their meeting at The White House.

What Sasot failed to mention was that Biden called Marcos ‘MOM’ during their conversation off camera. Of course, he, err, she would not have known that because the Netherlands-based Vlogger was not present at The White House.

In addressing Marcos ‘MOM,’ Biden was referring to “Martyr or Murderer,” the Darryl Yap film about Bongbong Marcos’ father, Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr.

Again, Sasot would not have know that.

Maria Ressa, Raissa Robles, Gabriela File Appeal On Behalf Of Imelda Marcos!

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Following the denial by the Sandiganbayan of a motion by Imelda Marcos and Irene Marcos-Araneta to reacquire some two dozen properties and assets earlier deemed as illegally acquired, Maria Ressa, Raissa Robles and the women’s group Gabriela filed a motion for reconsideration in favor of the Marcoses.

In their joint urgent motion, the petitioners said they were supporting the Marcoses on this case.

In an Adobo Chronicles interview with Ressa, the Nobel lauriat and convicted CEO of Rappler, she said that the denial all but invalidates what she and other opposition groups claim regarding the death of Democracy and Justice in the Philippines.

“We ask the Court to reverse its decision so that we can continue our narrative that Democracy and Justice are dead in the Philippines, and that the Marcoses continue to have illegal influence and power in the country.

Robles and Gabriela seconded Ressa’s motion.
