Trump Wants Hillary Clinton Back As Secretary of State

IMG_0329.PNGWASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Despite his intense and bitter rivalry with Hillary Clinton in the last U.S. presidential elections, Donald Trump wants the former First Lady to come back to Washington as his Secretary of State.

Trump is reportedly unhappy 😔  with his man at the State Department, Rex Tillerson.

As proof of the thawing of relations between Trump and Clinton, the president followed Hillary’s advice to bomb Syrian airfields after the Assad regime launched a chemical attack on its own citizens.

Hours after Clinton made the suggestion, Trump ordered the air strikes against Syria.

Is this the beginning of the end of gridlock in the nation’s capital?

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Unbeknownst to Filipinos, Rodrigo Roa Duterte has been president of the Philippines 🇵🇭 for 40 years now. This, according to  Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano. Yes, the same Alejano who last month filed an impeachment complaint accusing Duterte of dereliction of duty in refusing to assert the country’s sovereign rights over Benham Rise and Panatag Shoal.

Alejano on Friday ridiculed the president’s pronouncement to send troops to unoccupied South China Sea islands and reefs claimed by the Philippines, saying nothing was left to grab in those disputed waters.

“Mr. President, you’re 40 years too late,” the Congressman said, “it’s time for you to step down.”

That’s right, Duterte should have done this when he first assumed the presidency 40 years ago.

Duterte Won’t Bring Home The Bacon From Middle East State Visit

IMG_8011MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Malacañang has announced that Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte will embark on a three-nation state visit to the Middle East this coming Holy Week.

It is expected that Duterte will discuss various issues that concern Filipino overseas workers in the Muslim countries while seeking to attract more investments in the Philippines just like he did in his previous state visits to various countries in the Asian region.

However, Duterte critics are already saying that this time, the president will not “bring home the bacon 🥓 ”

Which is true, because Muslims don’t eat pork.
