Donald Trump’s Senior Aide Kellyanne Conway Will Be A Judge At The 65th Miss Universe Pageant In Manila

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen has confirmed that she is on the judging panel of 65th edition of the pageant here.

The 41-year-old model-turned-actress was crowned Miss Universe in Manila in 1994 and she said she is excited as well as overwhelmed to return to the pageant 23 years later.

Also named judge for the January 29 (January 30 Philippine time) pageant finals is U.S. President Donald Trump’s senior aide Kellyanne Conway.

In announcing the selection of Conway as a judge, the Miss Universe Organization said that it was very impressed with her high fashion sense, as was evident in her choice of wardrobe at Trump’s inauguration last week.  “We’re confident she will contribute a great deal to the judging especially in the selection of the Best in National Costume and Best in Evening Gown,” a Miss Universe Organization spokesperson told The Adobo Chronicles.

President Trump Fires Aide Kellyanne Conway For Upstaging First Lady

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – President Donald Trump has fired his senior aide Kellyanne Conway for upstaging First Lady Melania during today’s presidential inauguration.

Inauguration day is usually focused on the First Lady and her wardrobe.

Being the fashion icon that she is, Melania, 46, wore an American designer Ralph Lauren baby blue cropped jacked with cowl neckline and matching dress.

But the outfit that attracted the most attention was the red hat with red, white and blue coat with brass buttons worn by Conway.The $3,600 double-breasted Gucci coat is reminiscent of the American Revolution era.

Angered and very displeased at the upstaging, Trump immediately fired Conway.

The Adobo Chronicles tried to reach Conway for comment but a call to her cell phone had a pre-recorded message: “All circuits are busy.”

IMG_7286.PNGMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It is no secret that she was hesitant to run for vice president. But being the good citizen and loyal party member that she is, she accepted the challenge of candidacy for the Liberal Party. And she won.

Now, Leni Robredo is having second thoughts about being VP.

She wants to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a fashion and magazine model, and since she assumed the vice presidency, she has made it to the cover of several fashion magazines.

She told The Adobo Chronicles that her VP and cabinet positions are standing in the way of her modeling ambition.

She is expected to announce her decision about possibly abandoning her government positions in the next few weeks, after a scheduled meeting with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
