MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – It is no secret that U.S. President Donald Trump has a beef with Mexicans, evident not only by his passion to build a border wall, but also with his policy of denying U.S. travel visas for Mexican nationals.
Alas, a computer glitch at the U.S. Embassy in Manila now automatically denies visa applications from Filipinos who hail from or reside in Mexico, a town in the Philippine province of Pampanga.
It is already difficult for most Filipinos to obtain a visa to visit America, but having one’s address or hometown listed as Mexico, Pampanga makes it almost impossible to get one.
The U.S. Embassy in Manila is still trying to correct the glitch that automatically deletes all visa applications bearing the key word “Mexico.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – FOX News is reporting that U.S. President Donald Trump is planning to cut aid to theee Mexican countries over the explosive issue of migration.
The three Mexican countries are El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – As the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) prepares to implement its plan to totally ban provincial buses on EDSA, the fast food giant ChowKing has submitted a proposal to take over the bus terminals as soon as they shut down.
The MMDA plan would eventually close down all provincial bus terminals along the busy thoroughfare. Passengers heading for Northern or Southern Luzon will have to take city buses to catch provincial buses in Bocaue, Bulacan and Santa Rosa, Laguna, respectively.
ChowKing has already put up signs on the facades of Victory Liner, Dagupan Bus and Genesis bus terminals along EDSA in Cubao.
