DAVAO CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Davao Bureau) – President Rodrigo Duterte’s son, Congressman Paolo Duterte had earlier proposed to rename the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to Paliparang Pandaigdig ng Pilipinas (translation: International Airport of the Philippines), but many are pushing back.
Netizens are demanding that NAIA revert to its original name. International pilots have also complained that it would be very difficult for them to communicate with Manila’s flight control tower if the airport’s name was in Tagalog.
So Duterte backtracked and agreed to return NAIA to its original name — MIA…

Lo and behold, Leni Robredo came up on top with more than three-fourths of the vote. President Rodrigo Duterte was a distant 3rd, behind Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.

Netizens have been amused by FaceApp’s newest tool that can transform photos of males into photos of females. That’s now passé.
In celebration of Pride Month this June, Facebook has launched a new tool that will confirm one’s gender identity, sexual preference or sexual orientation, whatever the politically-corect term is.
Here’s how it works:
1. Log on to your Facebook account.
2. Click on “status.”
3. Type in “hashtag pride “ (#pride).
4. Click on “post.”
5. Check your post. If what you typed in appears in rainbow colors, you’re LGBT. If the characters are in black, you’re hopelessly straight!
