Netizens Worldwide Launch a 5-Day Celebrity Death Watch

IMG_7948.PNGHOLLYWOOD, California (The Adobo Chronicles, Los Angeles Bureau) – Following the death of their beloved Princess Leia and George Michael, netizens all over the world simultaneously launched an online vigil, calling it a 5-day celebrity death watch.

Netizen after netizen complained about the year 2016 which has seen the death of many of their celebrity icons.  Many have repeatedly said in their social media posts: “enough already.” They are asking for nothing but positive thoughts for all surviving celebrity icons.

The countdown begins immediately and will last till midnight of January 31.

Angelina Jolie Sues Filipino Actor Paolo Ballesteros For Celebrity Infringement

HOLLYWOOD, California (The Adobo Chronicles, Los Angeles Bureau) – Newly-divorced Angelina Jolie is suing Filipino actor and makeup transformation artist Paulo Ballesteros for celebrity infringement.

Ballesteros stars in a Filipino film, “Die Beautiful” in which he impersonates a dead Angelina Jolie.

The publicist for Jolie told The Adobo Chronicles that she  first contemplated on suing Ballesteros when the Filipino actor appeared at the Tokyo International Film Festival as the American actress.  Many in the festival crowd thought it was the real Jolie they were seeing.

Ballesteros went on to win the Best Actor award at the festival.

His film is currently showing at the Metro Manila Film Festival and is drawing huge crowds and critical acclaim.

Donald Trump Sends Philippines President Duterte A Special Christmas Card

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has sent a very special custom greeting card to wish Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte and the Filipino people a Merry Christmas.

The card was reportedly personally designed by Trump’s daughter Ivanka.

It simply had the text, “Merry Christmas! President-elect Donald J. Trump,” but what was significant was his photo in front of of a gayly-decorated Christmas tree making the trademark fist that has been attributed to Duterte.

It also included a collage of photos of other Duterte supporters in ther Philippiners displaying the fist.

Now we know how Trump feels about Duterte.
