Cupertino, California (The Adobo Chronicles) – There are two things one would find in every Filipino home: a rice cooker and a karaoke machine. Either one or both could probably explain why Filipinos are some of the most musically-talented in the world.
Well, Apple is cashing in on this phenomenon when it launches its iPad Water in the Philippines beginning September 9. The Cupertino-based company has chosen the Philippines as its test market for this new exciting product.
Now, even the most shy but musically-talented Filipinos will have no more excuse to not showcase their talent, albeit in the shower.
The new iPad Water comes with a waterproof cover and an installed karaoke app that would make singing in the shower a breeze and an absolute delight. It automatically connects to the Internet where one could easily download the latest hit songs- from Taylor Swift to Bruno Mars. The shower head automatically converts into a microphone through bluetooth technology.
The new iPad Water will retail for PH 9,000 (pesos) or approximately $200.
