NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles) – According to the Christian faith, every human being born in this world is born a sinner, and in the Roman Catholic Church, it takes a miracle to be canonized a saint in a long and tedious process.
But Kim Kardashian and Kanye West defy dogma and centuries-old tradition by the birth of their second child, Saint. No need for baptism and no need for canonization for the baby boy.
Their first child, North, now 2 years old, seemed to have prepared the way for Saint’s birth. A biblical north star from the west, so to speak.
Congratulations to the proud parents. They are truly blessed.
We all look forward to following Saint as he leads a holy life in this troubled world of ours.
NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – For the first time since announcing he was running for president of the United States, Donald Trump went on national television to answer specific questions ranging from creating jobs and the middle class to foreign policy and illegal immigration.
It happened on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
But the biggest news from the interview with the late night talk show host was Trump’s announcement that he has made his decision on who his vice presidential running mate would be: rapper Kanye West.
West’s political ambitions are not secret. At the recent MTV Video Music Awards, he declared he was running for president in 2020.
In naming West, Trump said that being vice president would be a great way for West to prepare for future presidency.
Asked whether he would be willing to be a one-term president to give way for West to run in 2020, Trump said that he was hugely confident that he can solve all of the country’s problems in four years and there would be no need for a second term.
“By then, I would have trained West as my top apprentice and future president,” Trump told Fallon.
NEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – ‘And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.’ With these words rapper Kanye West officially declared his candidacy to be the next leader of the free world.
West made the surprise announcement on live TV during last night’s MTV Video Music Awards where he received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
The segment started with a bang when West was handed his Moonman by an unexpected contemporary: reigning pop queen / one-time Kanye “victim” Taylor Swift. After a narrated montage containing clips from every part of West’s career, Swift came up on stage and talked about her West fandom and his influence on her career. She wrapped her speech by quoting West’s infamous 2009 VMA interruption — you know, the one where he rushed the stage and grabbed the mic from Swift to defend Beyoncé’s work — to proclaim that he’s had “one of the greatest careers of all time.”
Speaking to reporters after the telecast, West said, ‘If an idiot like Donald Trump can run for president, why can’t I ?’ He then thanked Barack Obama for showing the world that black men can be president in the U.S.
Kim Kardashian, who was standing beside West during the interview with reporters, was asked how she feels about being First Lady. She responded with a Sarah Palin-style wink at the reporter who asked the question.
