ON BOARD THE TRUMP JET (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – During her acceptance speech for the Republican vice presidential nomination in 2008, Sarah Palin said that she put the jet purchased by Alaska’s former governor up for sale on eBay as an example of her attempts at ethics reform.

Following in her footsteps, presidential candidate Donald Trump is doing the same but upping the ante.

Speaking with reporters on board his private jumbo jet, Trump said that if elected president of the United States, he will auction off Air Force One, the presidential plane, on eBay.

“I will have no need for Air Force One. I have my own plane. Think of the millions of taxpayer dollars that would save our government,” he said.

Asked about Marine One, the presidential helicopter, Trump said he will raffle off it off among county firefighting units across the country to help them put out forest fires or use for emergency rescue.

What about the White House?

“I will make it part of the group of museums in the National Mall on Washington D.C. I will live in one of the Trump Towers.”

Is it any wonder that Trump is surging in the polls?

LAREDO, Texas (The Adobo Chronicles® ) – Every so often, politicians and celebrities are caught in uncompromising situations — in public restrooms.

It is no secret that Republican presidential candidate likes women. That’s why he owns several beauty pageants and has been married three times. But who knew he also likes using women’s public restrooms?

Trump arrived in Texas yesterday to tour the U.S.-Mexico border in Laredo. He tried to be incognito by wearing a white baseball cap to hide his all too familiar faded blond hair as he stepped off his private jet and proceeded to use the international airport’s restroom– the women’s restroom.

It all went without incident until he came out of the restroom to a swarm of television cameras, reporters and photographers.

Asked why he chose to use the women’s bathroom instead of the men’s, Trump simply shrugged his shoulders and said, “I needed to go pee so bad I didn’t realize I entered the women’s bathroom. It was only when I noticed it had stalls but no urinals that I knew I was in the wrong bathroom, but it was too late. I really couldn’t hold it any longer!”

Nothing ever embarrasses Trump, but this incident apparently did.

DEMOCRATS FUELING DONALD TRUMP’S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

imageNEW YORK, New York (The Adobo Chronicles®) – NBC is reporting that the U.S. media is fueling Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

With 16 Republican candidates running for president, most contenders are struggling to get media coverage, which helps make them better-known to voters and spread their message. That hasn’t been a problem for Trump.

An independent analysis shows that 46 percent of the media coverage over the last month about the GOP candidates was about Trump, compared to 13 percent of articles about Jeb Bush.

Trump, in a period from June 14 to July 12, received more coverage than the combined total of Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, generally considered the three leading GOP candidates.

But an investigative report by The Adobo Chronicles® shows that it’s the Democrats, not the media, that have catapulted Trump to the No. 1 spot in national polls on who among the declared Republican candidates should be anointed by the GOP.  Trump now leads the field of GOP candidates by double digits,  24% to be exact.

It turns out that Democrat poll respondents have been voting at a 100% rate for Trump.

The Democratic strategy seems to be to  ensure that Trump gets the GOP nomination which would all but result in Hillary Clinton winning the electoral  votes in all the 50 states.

Unless the Republicans get their act together, America is headed for its first woman in the White House. And we’re not talking First Lady here!
