Beginning May 1, 2023, Facebook account holders will have access to the newest emoticon — that of being star-struck.
K-pop boy and girl bands have become so popular not only in Asia but the mainstream Western World, some having been able to break the glass ceiling in the field of music. Represent!
So go ahead, starting May 1, show your Korean idols some love. Hit that star-struck button.
MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Senator Raffy Tulfo promised during his campaign that he would propose legislation that would strengthen the existing “Anti-Terror Law.”
Alas, his legislative staff and interns misunderstood his instructions and instead came up with a proposed “Anti-Taray Bill.”
The proposed measure wants to impose tougher penalties on government workers guilty of misconduct, harassment and even human rights violations.
Once passed into law, the Anti-Taray Bill will sanction rude and snobbish government workers with dismissal from service and perpetual disqualification from public office.
So as not to waste the time and effort spent by his staff, Tulfo went ahead and filed the bill.
SAN FRANCISCO, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Francisco Bureau) – Now it can be told. Twitter itself said so.
Pingping Tweets was blocked by Twitter for violation of the social media platform’s community standards.
Netizens surmised the account was blocked for its insults hurled at the Philippine President and family, as well as for threats against those who have called Pingping out.
Not so, according to a leaked message sent by Twitter to Pingping. Now we know the real score!
