A President Leni Robredo Will Live In Malacañang of Bicol!

NAGA CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Naga Bureau) – Vice President Leni Robredo today promised that if elected President, she will abandon Malacañang Palace in Manila and will take up residence in the Malacañang of Bicol. She was referring to the Jesse Robredo Museum in Naga City.

”This is consistent with my desire to be closer to the people of laylayan (abandoned),” she said.

Robredo’s idea is nothing new. During the time of President Ferdinand E. Marcos, he would often hold office at the Malacañang of the North — the family’s residential home in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. President Rodrigo Duterte frequently flies to his hometown of Davao City, holding office at the Malacañang of the South.

Perhaps it is also time to have a Central Philippines Malacañang to be located in the Visayas. We just need to have a President from the region!

IATF Relaxes Rules: Face-To-Face Dating Now Allowed!

MANILA, PHilippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – As new cases of Covid-19 in the Philippines seem to be going down, the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has moved to relax some of its quarantine restrictions.

In addition to limited face-to-face school classes, IATF also announced it will no longer require the mandatory use of face shields in public with a few exceptions for areas under Alert Level 5 and in medical settings.

Today, IATF also announced that it will now also allow face-to-face dating regardless of Alert Level.

The move is welcome news for couples who have restricted their dating to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Grindr.

”At last, after seeing my boyfriend only virtually for almost two years, I now see him live and in person, minus the face shield,” a netizen told The Adobo Chronicles.

All’s well that ends well!

Leni Robredo, Isko Moreno Concede!

MANILA, Philppines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The official campaign period for the 2022 Philippine elections hasn’t started yet but already, two Presidential candidates are conceding!

Vice President Leni Robredo and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno have all but conceded that they are the only two Presidential aspirants who haven’t worn a military uniform either as an officer or reservist.

Even Vice Presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte has donned the uniform representing valor, loyalty, integrity and service to the country. Other candidates include former police chief Panfilo Lacson, General Antonio Parlade, President Rodrigo Duterte, Manny Pacquiao and Bongbong Marcos.

Robredo and Moreno have also conceded that they need to project themselves in other ways during the campaign to show that they are worthy to be Commander-in-Chief.
