A President Leni Robredo Will Live In Malacañang of Bicol!

NAGA CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Naga Bureau) – Vice President Leni Robredo today promised that if elected President, she will abandon Malacañang Palace in Manila and will take up residence in the Malacañang of Bicol. She was referring to the Jesse Robredo Museum in Naga City.

”This is consistent with my desire to be closer to the people of laylayan (abandoned),” she said.

Robredo’s idea is nothing new. During the time of President Ferdinand E. Marcos, he would often hold office at the Malacañang of the North — the family’s residential home in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. President Rodrigo Duterte frequently flies to his hometown of Davao City, holding office at the Malacañang of the South.

Perhaps it is also time to have a Central Philippines Malacañang to be located in the Visayas. We just need to have a President from the region!
