No Underwear Policy For NAIA Airport Security Personnel

NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The management of NAIA will implement a “no pocket “ policy for all airport security personnel as a deterrent to cash and jewelry being stolen from passengers.

Recently, cases have been uncovered of airport personnel stealing cash from a Thai passenger and a wrist watch from another.

Security personnel will also now be prohibited from bringing their personal bags to their area of assignment.

But that seems to be not enough.

Today Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Cesar Chiong told The Adobo Chronicles that he will also implement a “no underwear” policy for security personnel just to make sure they won’t have anything to hide their loot in.

Wise move!

Flying In Or Out Of NAIA? Stock Up On Cling Wrap!

NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Remember those days when bullets were intentionally implanted in luggages of passengers flying in or out of NAIA, as a modus operandi to extort money?

Well it’s baaaack!

Only this time, the MO is quite different. Airport personnel steal money from wallets of passengers or wrist watches from the bin at security screening stations.

But no worries, the good old cling wrap will do the trick.

Before passing through the airport screening area, wrap your wallets, handbags, cellphones, wrist watches and other valuable items to make it difficult for scrupulous airport personnel to steal them.

Stock up on cling wrap. It does wonders when traveling!
