So we tried to arrange an interview with Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque to seek comment about the controversial pictorial.

While waiting for a response from Roque, here is what we imagine would happen when we get to actually interview him:

AC: Many netizens are criticizing the President and Malacañang for the debutante fashion pictorial of Paolo’s daughter.  Can we get your comment on this?

ROQUE: Mamatay na sila sa inggit!

A Repentant Trillanes Pledges Support For Duterte

7A609B80-0152-456A-9ED0-A2C6D4C9CF8DMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Once in a while, the Christmas season brings a change of heart, and political color.

Many have been wondering about the recent eerie silence of the usually vocal and noisy Senator Antonio Trillanes.

Now we know why he has been missing in action (he even missed the Congress vote on the Martial Law extension in Mindanao.)

In an exclusive interview with The Adobo Chronicles, the opposition senator said he has been doing a lot of soul-searching lately — all in the spirit of the birth of the savior Jesus Christ.

He now realizes that all his criticism against the Duterte administration as well as all the lawsuits he has filed against those who have allegedly libeled him are not in keeping with the Christmas spirit.

”Christmas is the time for giving, love and unity,” Trillanes said, “and I repent for all the anti-Filipino actions I have made over the years.”

Senate To Investigate Raissa Robles’ Martial Law Book

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Philippine Senate has its hands full these days — especially around health issues.

It hasn’t yet concluded its hearing on the bungled Dengvaxia vaccine which has been administered to more than 800,000 Filipino school kids but already, it has lined up another health investigation.  This time, it has something to do with Raissa Robles’ Marcos Martial Law book, ‘Never Again.’

Hospital emergency rooms are reporting a sudden spike in nosebleed cases.  While the cause of the nosebleed remains a mystery, authorities have established a common denominator among the emergency cases: all of them developed the strange phenomenon while reading Robles’ book.

Is it a virus imbedded in the book’s pages?  Is it a case of witchcraft? Or does this border on the ‘miraculous?’
