POPE FRANCIS SAYS HE WILL VOTE FOR SINGING NUN ON ITALY’S ‘THE VOICE’

imageRome, Italy – This has all the trimmings of the classic 1966 movie, ‘The Singing Nun” except that it’s 2014, where reality TV shows like “The Voice” are dominating airwaves worldwide, including Italy.

The latest episode of ‘The Voice’ Italy featured a contestant who was a certified Catholic nun, rocking her way into the hearts of the judges, the live and television audience, and yes, even Pope Francis who announced he is going to vote for Sister Cristina Scuccia. Her rendition of Alicia Keys’ ‘No One’ captivated the entire country and beyond.

With the Pope’s endorsement and over 60 Million Catholics in Italy, Sister Cristina’s victory is almost assured.

Here’s a video clip of  the nun’s  surprising performance.

J. LO OBJECTIFIES PUPPIES IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO

photoHollywood, California – The 44-year-old Jennifer Lopez premiered her new music video during Thursday’s American Idol.  The clip features throwbacks of the diva’s most famous looks, including her On the 6 album artwork and the infamous Versace dress she wore to the Grammys in 2000.

The video begins with Lopez and her two girlfriends discussing with the director how the video should be filmed, and where.  Suggestions ranged from a carnival to a waterpark, with half-naked ladies.  Lopez and her pals exclaimed almost in unison: “Why do men always objectify women in every single video? Why can’t we for once be the objectifiers?”

And so the rest is history.

The final video features Lopez playing around with a litter of naked  puppies loaned to the film crew by an unnamed dog breeder in Hollywood.

Soon after it aired, the music video shot up to No. 1 in the video music charts.  The song’s title is “I Luh Ya Papi.”

THE REAL ADELE DAZEEM EXPOSED, TURNS OUT TO BE FILIPINA

elsa-frozen-cartoon-mobile-wallpaper-1080x1920-3514-4289924720Hollywood, California – John Travolta didn’t make a goof after all on Oscar night.  Everybody knows by now how Travolta introduced actress/singer Idina Menzel as ‘Adele Dazeem’ when she sang ‘Let It Go,’ the nominated song from the Disney animated film, ‘Frozen.’

It turns out that prior to Oscar night, Travolta was rehearsing his lines for his introduction of Menzel.  Being the professional that he is, Travolta wanted to listen to the nominated song so that he could come up with a better introduction.  So he went on YouTube and typed in ‘Let It Go.’ A video came up of a Filipina housewife singing the song.  Her name was Adele Dazeem.

Travolta was so mesmerized by the song and the Filipina singer that up till Oscar night, the name Adele Dazeem was stuck in his head. In all fairness, Travolta came up with a great introduction, saying “the wickedly talented…”

The Oscar-winning song’s co-composer, Robert Lopez, is Filipino American.

This is the video that Travolta viewed on YouTube.
