White House Unveils Uniform Of The New U.S. Space Force

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) –President Donald Trump has signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2020 that establishes a U.S. Space Force as the sixth branch of the U.S. armed forces—despite the Outer Space Treaty designating space as a global commons to be used for peaceful purposes.

Trump signed the NDAA flanked by top defense and military officials at a ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Immediately following the signing ceremony, The White House unveiled the official uniform of the members of the U.S. Space Force, saying that “This is no longer Hollywood.  This is for real.  This is the New United States of America.

White House sources also told The Adobo Chronicles that the Trump administration’s next step is to establish a satellite office of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that will process the visas of foreign nationals venturing into  space.  It will be temporarily housed at the existing InternationalSpace Station.

Miss Universe Catriona Gray Wants To Train With China’s Pink Army

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – In a recent visit to the headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Miss Universe Catriona Gray said she is considering joining her country’s military after her reign is over.

In the meantime, Gray says she would love to train with China’s “pink army,”  the elite, all-women division of the country’s Armed Forces.

”I’m very impressed with their precision, skill and discipline, but also with how they maintain their beauty and womanhood while wearing their uniform,” Gray told The Adobo Chronicles.

The Filipina beauty queen says she hopes to emulate the Chinese women soldiers and instill the same kind of service, loyalty and beauty once she has joined the AFP.

Duterte Orders Cabinet Members To Undergo 3 Months Military Training

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – During his State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Rodrigo Duterte reiterated Monday that he chose military men to be part of his Cabinet because they followed orders.

“Kapag sinabi mong walang corruption, walang corruption,” he added. (If you tell them no corruption, there will be no corruption.)

He added that members of the armed services were aware that he was a lawyer, and that he would never issue any illegal order.

So, as Duterte begins the final 3 years of his presidency, he has ordered all his Cabinet Secretaries and Undersecretaries — men and women — to undergo a  3-month military training to instill in them discipline, integrity and loyalty in serving his administration and the Filipino people.

Malacañang told The Adobo Chronicles that the only exemptions to his order are members of his Cabinet who have been ex-military men and those who have undergone R.O.T.C. (Reserved Officers Training Corps) in their younger years in college.
