On Eve Of Philippine Independence Day, BBC’s Stephen Sackur To Interview Top Filipino Personalities

While nationwide activities have been planned to commemorate the occasion, BBC has scheduled a marathon interview tonight with top Filipino politicians and celebrities, including those who have been disgraced.

The live interview will feature:

Ousted Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno

About-to-be-ousted Vice President Maria Leonor (Leni) Robredo

Disgraced Opposition Congressman Maria Gary Alejano

Desgraciada television host Maria Kris Aquino

If there will be enough time during the marathon broadcast, Sackur may also interview Maria Juana Change, Maria Agot Isidro and Maria Raissa Robles.

Blogger Raissa Robles Apologizes To The Marcoses For Her Book ‘Never Again’

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – After all, people are willing to give peace a chance.

Today, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go apologized to Kris Aquino for PCOO Asec Mocha Uson’s post on Aquino’s dad, showing a video of two women kissing the Senator.  It was Uson’s way of getting back at President Duterte’s critics who condemned him kissing a married Filipina in South Korea.

Not to be outdone, blogger Raissa Robles apologized to the Marcos family for her book, ‘Marcos Martial Law: Never Again.’

Mocha Uson Fires Back, Challenges Kris Aquino To Mud Wrestling

Aquino challenged Uson to a hairpulling fight — a re-enactment or a movie scene involving the latter.

It all started after Uson posted a video of Aquino’s father Ninoy, being kissed by two women.  It was her way of getting back at critics of President Rodrigo Duterte for that kissing incident in South Korea.

Well, not only did Uson accept the hair-pulling challenge.  She wants something more.  She said she is ready to face Aquino in a mudwrestling match at a time, date and venue of Aquino’s choosing.

”We can have it in Los Angeles, California, or we can have it at the Philippine Arena. Just let me know and I’ll be there,” Uson said.
