Facebook Launches FB Satire News

SAN JOSE, California (The Adobo Chronicles, San Jose Bureau) – Mark Zuckerberg is sick and tired of mainstream  media masquerading as legitimate news outlets, like Rappler in the Philippines.

Today, he announced the launch of Facebook Satire News, in partnership with some of the most respected satire news sites all over the world.

In  a press statement, Zuckerberg said Facebook users deserve a page dedicated to brilliant and entertaining reporting of worldwide news developments as opposed to the biased and sloppy reporting by so-called legitimate news media.

Ironically, Rappler is a designated Facebook fact-checker, along with Vera Files. Zuckerberg said the contracts with the two fact-checkers will soon be terminated. “It’s just not working,” he said.

U.S.A. Has Two Candidates In Miss Grand International

CARACAS, Venezuela (The Adobo Chronicles, New York Bureau) – All the controversy regarding the travel woes of Miss Philippines Samantha Lo are much ado about nothing.

Lo, who is the Philippines’ representative to the Miss Grand International being held here, was reported to to have been barred in Paris from continuing on to Venezuela because of  “passport issues.”

Reports indicate that she had a “fake” Philippine passport, having obtained it from a “fixer.”

But all that doesn’t matter. As reported by ABS-CBN News, the local pageant organizer, Binibining Pilipinas Charities, confirmed Lo had a U.S. passport, proof she is a citizen of the United States.

With all that said, U.S.A. has two candidates for the Miss Grand International Crown.

How cool is that?
