Taiwan Clarifies Visa For Filipinos

DD738A08-4AB9-47BF-A039-CBC36B31CB09 MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – The Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines has issued a clarification regarding the news on Filipinos being visa-free.

TECO confirmed that beginning this November, Filipinos visiting Taiwan will not need an entry visa. But it also denied that it was offering free visa cards to Filipinos.

Businesses in Taiwan accept all types of credit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express and all othger major cards.

Miss Venezuela Banned From Entering U.S.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – Donald Trump used to own the Miss Universe Organization which sponsors the annual Miss Universe Beauty Pageant.

But now that he’s president, Trump wants nothing to do with the next Miss Universe — if it happens to be Miss Venezuela.

Trump’s new travel ban covers 8 countries, including Venezuela.

The Miss Universe Organization is headquartered in New York, and the winning beauty is provided an apartment in the Big Apple throughout her reign.

Unless it is Miss Venezuela.

Venezuela has accumulated more Big Four international pageant titles than any other country, including seven Miss Universe winners, six Miss World winners, seven Miss International winners and two Miss Earth winners.
