Hawaii Missile Threat: This Is Not ‘Not A Drill’

HONOLULU, Hawaii (The Adobo Chronicles, Honolulu Bureau) – Now we know that the alert message received by Hawaii residents regarding an incoming missile was sent in error.

Cell phones went buzzing Saturday all over the Rainbow State with an emergency alert message for residents to seek shelter. It was taken very seriously because it ended with ‘This is not a drill.’

The US Pacific Command has confirmed that it was a message sent in error, and promised to immediately send a corrected alert. It will read:

”This is NOT a not a drill.”

NoyNoy Aquino Defends His Dengue Vaccination Program

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – One of the big questions now facing ex-President NoyNoy Aquino and his administration’s Department of Health is why school children vaccinated with the bungled vaccine, Dengvaxia, were not pre-screened for previous Dengue infection or for pre-existing conditions like autoimmune disease.

Current information now points to the fact that Dengvaxia vaccination for those who have not had a previous Dengue infection, as well as for those with autoimmune disease shouldn’t have happened without pre-screening.

Sanofi has admitted that Dengvaxia could cause severe effects for those who have not had Dengue previously. Also, because Dengvaxia is a ‘live’ (attenuated) vaccine, it could bring about serious, adverse affects for those with autoimmune disorders like lupus, HIV/AIDS or even rheumatoid arthritis.

The Adobo Chronicles caught up with Aquino at his residence in Quezon City as he was enjoying a cigarette in his front yard, and we asked him for his comment.

Aquino said that he stands by his decision to have authorized the Dengue vaccination program, saying he did it in ‘good faith.’

‘All the while, I thought that pre-screening meant pre-election, and so I authorized the launch of the vaccination program in time for the May 2016 elections to ensure the victory of the Liberal Party. No one told me about the need to pre-screen children for seropositivity for Dengue or for autoimmune disease.”

Now we know.

Trump Doesn’t Want Dark-Skinned Pinoys As Immigrants To U.S.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – The New York Times (NYT) is reporting that President Donald Trump on Wednesday balked at an immigration deal that would include protections for people from Haiti and African countries. He wanted to know at a White House meeting why he should accept immigrants from “shithole countries” rather than people from places like Norway.

What the NYT is not reporting is that Trump mentioned Filipinos in a one-on-one conversation with The Adobo Chronicles after that White House meeting.

AC caught up with Trump on board Air Force One enroute to Las Vegas, Nevada.

We asked him about his thoughts on undocumented Filipinos now in the United Sates.

”I love the Filipinos,” Trump said, “but unfortunately, I can only allow fair-skinned Pinoys to avail of my immigration compromise. We need to start making America look like America.”

This could explain Trump’s earlier White House comment about Norway vs. Haiti and Africa.
