MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – He is considered Rodrigo Duterte’s fiercest critics and has gone as far as the International Criminal Court to file a complaint versus the Philippine President for crimes against humanity.
Now, former Senator Antonio Trillanes has turned DDS, a die-hard Duterte supporter.
What brought about the political wind change is unclear but Trillanes himself admitted it in a post on his Twitter account on Sunday.
Is he planning to run for President in 2022 and is hoping to get Duterte’s endorsement and blessing? Or did he just have a “coming to Jesus” moment and suddenly realized all the accusations he has hurled against the popular leader were nothing but illusions? Calls by The Adobo Chronicles to Trillanes were unanswered as of press time.

For the longest time, PCOO and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque have been advocating for “Mask, Hugas, Iwas” to no avail. Roque himself has been criticized for violating the very protocols he has been advocating.
In its new, improved public service ad, PCOO is encouraging Filipinos to avoid the “3 C’s,” of avoiding Crowded places, Confined and enclosed spaces, and Chismosas and Chismosos (gossips).

Today, Duterte sent a message to President-elect Joe Biden, proposing to permanently reinstate the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) which allows America to maintain a military presence in the Philippines, under one condition.
The condition? That the incoming Biden administration institute a new immigration policy that would grant Filipino citizens a visa-free entry to the United States.. Duterte calls it the Visiting Filipinos Agreement.
