Exclusive: the changes trump wants on the stimulus bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Adobo Chronicles, Washington Bureau) – The stimulus bill passed by Congress to help American citizens and businesses cope with the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic is now in limbo. This, after President Donald Trump called on Congress to amend the new legislation.

In an exclusive interview with a very reliable source close to the President, The Adobo Chronicles got a peek into the changes Trump is demanding.

First, he wants to include a provision that would give a life-time, tax-exempt status on all his personal business ventures. Not to mention an absolute pardon on whatever past tax obligations he owes the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Second, he wants the $600 stimulus checks included in the bill to go only to the 70 plus million Americans who voted for him in last November’s elections. Those who voted for Biden and those who didn’t vote at all with get zero, zilch, nada.

Absent those changes, Trump says he will veto the bill.

MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque is bent on pursuing his first love: singing.

It is no secret that the former Congressman has a deep passion for belting out OPMs — Original Pilipino Music, as evidenced when he was caught on video singing karaoke, sans face mask, at a Baguio restaurant-bistro.

Now, Roque has officially launched his singing career with the release of an RTVM music video featuring the Spox and others singing a popular Filipino Christmas song. As can be seen on the video, Roque takes singing very seriously, with gusto feeling.

There is a lot of speculation that Roque will soon give up his Malacañang duties to go for the showbiz spotlight. After all, he already has name recognition.

senator Leila De Lima To Be Set Free On January 20!

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Quezon City Bureau) – At around noon on January 20, 2021, Joe Biden will take his oath as President of the United States, making Donald Trump the Ex-President.

At about the same time, Philippine Senator Leila de Lima will be released after almost four years in prison.

De Lima’s release is based on technicality. Her lawyers claim that the Senator is in jail only because of TRUMPed up charges relative to illegal drugs.

”With Trump gone, there is no longer any reason to keep De Lima in jail,” her lawyers said.

Now that calls for a high five!
