Mar Roxas, Leni Robredo Declare Aga Muhlach “Persona Non Grata”

4DE76B67-F344-415E-AE8D-EF48E6A7F652MANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila. Bureau) – In 2013, film actor Aga Muhlach ran for the elective post of  Representative for the Fourth District of Camarines Sur. He ran under the Liberal Party, and affiliated himself with the Robredos.

We all now have seen the viral video in which Muhlach, responding to a question by TV show host Vice Ganda, took to task Senator Antonio Trillanes and other Opposition politicians for  always  criticizing President Duterte while doing nothing to help.

The video elicited angry reactions from Opposition politicians and supporters who have called for a boycott of Muhlach’s latest movie, “First Love.”

But Liberal Party leaders, led by Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo, are doing more than just slapping Muhlach on the wrist. They want to declare the actor ‘persona non grata.’

‘Muhlach embarrassed the LP with his comments and put the party at high risk of losing supporters — and votes in the coming midterm elections —especially among Aga’s fans and millennials,” Roxas said.

Robredo, who is currently abroad, is reportedly considering ousting Muhlach from LP.

Kris Aquino Banned From Future Appearances In Hollywood

6DC0CA40-BD3C-4243-9BEF-ACECCCA8E125.jpegHOLLYWOOD, California (The Adobo Chronicles, Los Angeles Bureau) – Even the most famous celebrities of Hollywood know the rule: you don’t cross the line and breach security protocol at red carpet premieres.  Not even to greet your fans.

Well, Kris Aquino did just that during the red carpet premiere of the new box office film, “Crazy Rich Asians” in which the self-proclaimed Philippines ‘Queen of all Media’ appears on a wedding scene for less than a minute.

A handful of Filipino fans gathered to get a glimpse of the former Presidential sister, many of them (who haven’t seen the film) thought Aquino was the lead star. We’ll she’s been acting that way.

So, back to the Hollywood protocol.

Because she violated time-honored rules, the Hollywood Association of Film Producers and Others (HAFPO) has passed a resolution at its executive meeting last night, permanently banning Aquino from personal appearances in Hollywood.

Well, Aquino had her one-minute of fame, but she’s paying dearly for it.
